You are probably coming at your wake way too fast. Just have to slow it down, pop the nose up, when it sets in the trough you should be almost at a stop, then pull the wheelie lever and hit the gas button!! figuring out your set up wake is the key. I did about 40 of them before i ever made it more than 3/4 of the way. then once i started learning the wake, it was all about form. Hope this helps.
BTW buy a xs trim and do the cuppler mod. never look back.. best thing i have done since a hull or bpipe. That should be your number one thing to get.

Yeah you're right, I go way too fast for sure. Makes sense to me, your vid helped see how much you slowed down.

Would love an xscream trim but a little outta my price range! Ditching my CATS setup and going to a used thrust system I'm gonna snag for a good deal for now. Or we'll see, maybe over the winter I'll change my mind on what system I want to run.

It's funny. I was all concerned about getting a mag pump and total loss, and then I went and bored my nozzle and was actually real satisfied with the results to the point where I can tell I can still do a lot with my setup.

Used Thrust is about the same price as a new XScream. Or get the ones Thrust has on sale if there are any left.
It's one of the thrust sale ones, but it's used for a good deal so I'm most likely going that route.

You can also try a slide 180 then Backflip.
I will try that! I have yet to slide out with this ski so it'll take some practice. I've never actually truly broken it loose yet. Hooks up way better than my superjet..

I guess Jeff didn't cut my ride plate, but he highly recommends dcutting mine. I honestly think it might be a good idea because mine does not ride nose high at all(I have to use trim to really get the nose up) , and at least for 180s and flips, I think it would let the rear end sink and have the pump load sooner, faster right?
Also, doesn't d cutting make it slide easier?

Ok, so when summertime comes I'll need my ski quieter. Right now it doesn't matter because it's cold and nobody is out. That being said, my h2o box has a high outlet and my exhaust tube is low, so I had to cut a couch hose that had an angle in it to work, and then use hose clamps to straighten out the kinks(unnecessary but completely worked).
That being said, rrp/pfp boxes have high inlets and low outlets.. It'd be perfect after my h2o box for an in line silencer. Thoughts?

Box is brand new, wouldn't it run like crap without it?
I mean my ski is tolerable to me now that I aimed the sound downwards at the outlet. But it'll piss off neighbors. I'm used to my quiet fiberglass box square dampened by foam in the tray. This ski is gonna be way louder no matter what unless I add something after the box. If I added another box afterwards, I think I'd inject water too.

Nope, they run fine right up until that crack. Check your baffle. The x metal box is a little quieter, if you want to try that. Don't over complicate the exhaust by adding more water boxes though.

I'll inspect it soon. Supposedly I got one from the fixed batch..
