Ok so I'm getting a mag pump. If my pump is working pretty good now, should my current 9/15 hooker be fine for my setup?
I'm thinking about getting a stubby cone to try too

Rosebud, SC just said it. 1 thing at a time. There is nobody here than can tell you what will work with your setup. Unless there is someone with 95-100% of the same setup you have. Hull, Motor, Carb, Ignition, Prop, Nozzle size, Steering nozzle size and lenght, intake grate, etc etc etc.

Trial and error.

Question, do you usually need another spacer to run a hooker on a solas mag?

Use the washers skat or impros sells.

Ditch the stock rubber washer, it doesn't work on the mag and could end up ruining the front seal. If you're cheap and need a washer, cut all the rubber off the stock one and run it.

I remember there was a metal washer when I installed my hooker on my oem pump. I don't think I had a rubber one

I'm just hoping the spacer I have is enough so the prop doesn't rub..

Stock Kawasaki washers are useable instead of buying the expensive Skat or Impros ones.

Ok so here's the question I need answered though; if my prop doesn't rub on the viens of a stock pump, does that mean it won't rub on a mag pump?

Yeah... Because I was doing some research and a lot of people seemed to have an issue with the hooker rubbing on their mag pumps.
