Pump bolts up perfectly, driveshaft looks centered, and midshaft slides on with no gaps all the way around, and the bolts line up without needing to put pressure anywhere on the shaft. Id say that's aligned

Does this midshaft press look correct? My superjet one is pressed in a lot more than this raider 1100 one..

I already told you it looked right....I built a RIP with that same midshaft. Is my info no good?

You can slip the hard push-to-connect line over the barbs on the pump if you want.

I used one swivel push-to-connect fitting on the left side of my pump but couldnt on the right side of my pump because it was too bulky and interfered with the steering cable.

The reason I asked is because I wacked mine on the ground a couple times because I thought it didn't look right, and I wanted to clarify that it didn't move lol. And know I know it didn't move now that I saw a pic of Chads shaft. Lol

It might not look like I got a ton done today, but I did. I really didn't like those plastic barbed fittings so I took some stainless tubing I had laying around and drilled them out. Made life soooo much easier. Installed pump with steering cable, cooling lines, trim cable , etc. It took a long time to get everything the way I wanted it. But the best part is that everything lines up perfectly. No need to press really hard on the pump one way to get a bolt to line up, etc. They all just go right in. Pump looked lined up well to me, so I slid the midshaft on and lined up and there were no gaps around the hull and it didn't take any pressure on the driveshaft to line up the bolts. I also flipped the pump stator 180* so the cooling lines were easier to get on.

While I was at it, I decided to mock up the engine, pipe, and stock gas tank for the heck of it(yeah I'm not gonna run the stock tank for the rest of this season, gonna just get by with a kart tank). The couplers line up almost perfectly. I didn't even loosen up the motor mounts yet, so I should be able to get it perfect with moving the mounts a little bit. It's closer than a stock superjet with no shims, that's for sure! I shouldn't need any shims once I play with the mounts a little bit. I could probably run it how it is right now and be fine, but I'm gonna try to get it perfect. The fit and finish on this hull is freeken awesome.

And my steering cable is just a little too long..Haha

Honestly I've cussed more putting my square back together after tearing it apart than assembling this hull. It hasn't been too crazy. You have to be a little creative at times, but nothing too out of the ordinary. It helps when you have access to lots of tools though, that's for sure. Honestly the whole pump area was the hardest part for me so far since I had to figure out how I was going to do my trim setup, etc. Since the hull is wider than a superjet, the engine bay is so much nicer to work in..My headpipe clears the hood seal area just fine too.
Since I've had my square apart so many times a lot of this is just straight forward assembly. But, I still have a hell of a list of stuff to do. The little stuff takes up a lot of time!

I still have to:
-Order and install lightened flywheel and pole bushings
-seal up starter and stator cover
-finish fabbing up a backer plate for my pole bracket
-install cdi in ebox and button it up
-tap holes in ebox bosses and mount to ski
-install waterbox and tank inserts
-get a new battery(etx9 since my etx20 is way too big for the tray that jeff includes)
-drill holes for pissers and bilge pump
-add turf and pad on top of footholds
-remove midshaft, replace o rings, grease, silicone around the rubber seal, reinstall
-drop in motor, pipe, tank, clamp all hoses, bolt on ebox, etc. Pretty much assemble whole engine bay

So yeah its nothing too big, just a bunch of little things. Should be able to do all that this weekend once I get the parts. Honestly it's starting to get kinda fun.

A DNR service center is right by my school so I'm going to get it registered in the next couple days hopefully.

Oh and I'm the same way with assembling mine, the pump and midshaft were the hardest parts after that it was all comon sense putting it together

Talked to Jeff, and the reason my headpipe doesn't hit the hood seal area is because he moved the bulkhead and motor mounts 1/4 inch forward compared to some of the first hulls.
