No guruantees on video, might be alone out there. Only way I can get video is if my rents follow me but they've got company

I dunno why but I'm terrified to try a flip off of a boat wake. But I had no problem trying to roll my heavy as hell square at 25+ mph off of a boat wake..

Were you at the dells freeride 2 years ago? There was a guy on a carbon circus freak with a sub-standard 898 (no race gas I think) and I swear I watched him try 100 flip attempts and barely nose in every single one of them. So you figure that's over 20k into a ski and it still doesn't backflip. Well obviously he was a beginner and practice will eventually get him around. What I'm saying, is that not a single person on this forum believed you would get anywhere close to completing a flip in 7 days no matter what you did. And now you're going to get flamed because you run your mouth all day long on here. Practice a lot and next year you might have something that will flip flat water.

Honestly if I spent 20 gallons of gas solely spent on working on flips off of a boat wake, I'd get one around. Most rides have consisted of me working out kinks. Today my trim cable broke and my kart tank pickup was coming out and causing my tank to lose prime, etc. But, I did get one extremely good attempt off of a boat wake. Made a little bit past halfway but I didn't whip my head back or pole the pole to my chest, I kinda just leaned back. And right when I was about to start hitting wakes and actually start using form, my ski was having issues.. Story of my life.

That's not so bad, at least you get to ride yours. Been working for over three years and haven't ridden 2 out of 3 skis when they are working correctly

I'm talking flat water. I have no doubt you'll flip off a boat wake no problem sooner than later.

Well, now that weve had humble pie and ice cream, i wanted to comment on how awsome the RIP is. After watching matts build, now yours, im impressed with this hull!!!!!! Then i saw Jonathan Kavanagh on youtube . EFC2015. Hes got a 1200, but you can see how amazing these hulls ride flat water!! You have a nice boat @Rosie. Jelous!! :)

I have to thank @JetFiend for the foothold advice. Besides sometimes kicking the enclosure, these footholds are amazing. I'm so paranoid about staying in footholds.. So, I was riding around Sunday and my pump decided to blow off my shoe and it was super choppy and it was nowhere to be found.. And I was pissed, because I was planning on trying flips off of boat wakes..
But, I said screw it and was gonna try it anyways. My right foot with wrestling shoe was semi tight, but my left foot with just a sock was super loose.
Needless to say, I never came out of the holds. The wedges and foothold design make you stay. I went to huck it off of a boat wake and got some good height and was starting up at that sky and I stayed in. Awesome holds. From now on I'm pretty much just going to ride in neoprene socks because you don't even have to kick in. Or take some material off of the bottom of my heel blocks and still wear shoes.

I'm hoping to soon:(
I need about 60$ of gopro accessories to get it set up safely. But, if some people here have some accessories I could get it together and make some video.
