Not sure, it's been awhile, but I think it's Ti. maybe he made two different types. :dunno: just saying, he definitely didn't copy anyone else part, unless you count fitment dimensions, which that's the only way you can make one, and it be usable on an already manufactured ski.
I mean if you really wanna get stupid with it, any jet ski with a handlepole, that's not a kawi, is a direct rip off of Clay Jacobsens' original '73 400 design. Nobody's rippin up yamaha for making the fx-1 or superjet. Nobody is rippin on polaris for the octane, and no one is trashin' on hydrospace for making their standups, or any other A/m company that produces and sells standup hulls. But, all of the sudden, everyone starts moving their handlepoles 2 or 3 inches from the nose of the ski, and so when another company makes one like it, it's not acceptable? :dunno:
