yeah, i was thinking about doing that. I'll be cutting the swoops in the gunwhales over Xmas vacation. i cut the rear bondline to relieve drag on the rear when attempting backflips. not sure if it will make any substantial difference in a surf ski vs a flat water ski.

i'll also be installing the new WCF side sponson/tubbies next week too.

well, it's been several weeks since i've had time to work on the beast. I finally finished sanding the entire hull, and it came out nice. got everything all lined up for the hood cutting so i will start that tomorrow, and maybe cut the swoops on saturday.

ok, took me from 10am until 2pm to get the hood sanded and prepped. She’s now all ready for fiber glass work to complete the lowering process.
