Hey Mark do you have any pictures of the internals? I can only imagine what the inside looks like because the outsides look amazing.

Can't wait to see it finished and flipped!

Well.. you would think by seeing pics, that we threw down for an hour...
Oh what a false statement!

Silly Protec system is a PIA!

Photos dont do the color red it is justice what so ever.

Ya 4 hours to put trim on a ski. Maybe I don't know what I'm doing after all. Lol
we had to remake the cable mount and spring setup. I wish I knew that before since I would have welded an adj stop on it.

I don't but same style inside. It's a brand new MSD stamped sept 2011 so it's new new. I make it so everything is off the box even the bilge power. Then everything is quick connect so you don't need to open the box to pull the motor. Nice easy and clean.

I'm not sure if anyone has ran a protec up trim on the BOB before. I had Chris call them to ask because that bracket wasn't going to fit between the pump and deck. So I had to make our own bracket to hold the cable and made dual return springs. I'll snag a few done pics tomorrow.
Thrust is by far a nicer setup, the snatch block wheel is key. We will see how this holds up for Chris and get him on the water. But I think a thrust will be on order before summer hits.

Ski looks to be coming along great! Chris I guarantee you will love your ski! Even though its heavier than you had wanted it will still be an awesome ski and if your like me I feel better knowing that my hull can take any stress I'm gonna throw at it without worrying about any damage:) And always feel free to give me a call if you have any other questions. I'm glad to finally see more posts about Bobs! They really are great hulls! And way easier to build than a Q8 Sky .........

Installing and properly adjusting trim and then the steering takes time.
Yea, took me all day to get my steering and trim dialed .and yes there were adjustments/fitment issues on the thrust system also .i had to grind the cable arm to allow clearance so that when the bolt that holds it tightens, it sat flat on the pump mount.this is a milestone getting this stuff finished.looking good.

Wiring looks good, your making me want to go through all of mine... I guess I will do it when I drag everything over the the AM hull.

This ski should RIP when it's done!

Motor is assembled, thanks to Mark, Was cool walking in shop this morning and seeing the motor all assembled.

The pics do NO justice to the color of the powder coating.

Did the mid shaft, motor mounts, assembled motor, installed motor(half way) installed bilges and fittings, and installed the e box

Sucked that I had to drill right through the nice BOB logo on the turf and have bolts there for the E Box mounts... the bolts should be drilled and left in and turfed over....

the nice new Cold Fusion battery box is off having 1.5 inches or so cut off the side... Does not clear the motor mount... Not to sure why considering its the same mounting pattern as a stock box. (Will take some photos tomorrow)

Tomorrow is another day..

Still waiting for my pole ends to come back from Fast Elements... (7 weeks later or so...)
