Custom/Hybrid Ground up stunt build

Don't take it the wrong way, I just wanted to make it clear that you weren't waiting on me to get you a pole and hood. I did tell Chad a few weeks back I would make him a hood for the hull when I got the mold. But you made it sound like you bought the hull from me last february and have been waiting on stuff all this time. I just didn't want anyone thinking that you were waiting on me...

Bill made you the hull Tom, and all profits went to him. I had nothing to do with the deal you guys made. I just had my molds at Bill's shop and gave him permission to use them to make you the parts.

Not trying to be a dick or anything just wanted to clear my name lol.

Anyways the build looks great!

Think twice about moving the engine back unless your pole is very short. Its not hard to reach an annoying tipping point with no weight up front. The best foam that I have found for mounting mufflers/tanks is EVA floor padding. You can cut it and stack it to fit. It very light and bonds very well with thin superglue. Glue both ends and it acts like an engine mount, no chaffing. There is some room in the rear for a muffler, you have come too far to ruin it with a ghetto exhaust.

I think the hood looks awesome but my one critique of it is the length. This may not be an issue for most but for me that's got knee bashing written all over it.

if your knee's go anywhere near those inlets...your on the wrong ski...

this is meant for freestyle not racing ( aka "stunt" hull)

i cant even think of why you'd put your feet up so far on a trick

my opinion..but if you like to play it safe thats yours

loving the hood too!

I think his knees go near it when he fails on trick attempts. John always ends up with vaginas on his legs from the weirdest parts of his ski.

It's not really so much failed tricks as misjudged landings. I've got long legs and if I misjudge the landing and my legs bend too much, they'll hit anything that's more than a couple inches from the bulkhead. I've hit pablo's hood before. Thankfully it wasn't hard. I don't have to worry about hitting my own hood because I've only used stock but I have knocked off the primer knob.

I hear you, I have knocked off primer knobs and bilge switches from the front of the tray before. I have scraped my waterdawg hood before too.

Chad, Could you take a measurement for me? I need the distance outlined in the pic (apex to apex or center to center)to see if this hull will fit on my cart.......Thanks in advance!
