Hand guns

Shot a couple rds of colibris thru it nothin special. Im still in line for my supressor to come home with me. Would like to go shoot it with the supressor at the range but they changed the way they price the lanes and it costs 12 bucks just to shoot even if Im only there 5 minutes. Since I usually just runin and shoot for acouple minutes it sucks now. Guess I will just have to shoot it outside thru an oil filter for now.

Just found out our local outdoor range doesn't allow any steel targets and will fine up to $450 if you do. Things I wish I knew a week ago...

Anyone want to buy a brand new 3/8“ jumping jack target?

There sure are a lot of rules out east. That would be a big wake-up call for me if I lived there.

I bet private ranges are a different story. This one is state run and as usual, want to minimize liability as much as possible.

^^Depends on the range and the property they're on. The local one I frequent is privately owned, but operated on federal land. You don't bring your own targets. The standard rifle/pistol range has steel gongs at 200, 300, and 400 yards. Steel bullets are not allowed for fear of sparking fires with the steel gongs or large rocks (desert land).
No .50 BMG during summer months (again, fire).
The .22 range has dozens of small steel targets, as does the Cowboy Action range.

It's pretty nice. $75/year for a family membership. Standard rifle/pistol range (5 - 100 yds for paper), steel gongs 200-400 yds, 5-25 yd .22 plinking range.
Also a cowboy action range (also used for IDPA matches and stuff) and a separate shotgun range (costs extra for range time and clay). A primitive/blackpowder range and also a 1000 yd range. They do service rifle matches pretty regularly.
Downside is that it's open only Saturday & Sunday in the off season, and Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday during the summer. However, if you sign up for their range officer training and volunteer 2-3 days of service per year, you get 24/7 gate access and can shoot whenever.
