HELP¡¡¡¡ DASA 16 mm

They would, if he would call.

I wish you would have asked these questions when you bought the motor, or 4 pistons ago.

You crashed 5 pistons? Meaning you lean seized them? Or the timing isn't set right? I know of noone we sold "5" pistons to. Who are you getting the pistons from? I SERIOUSLY hope you aren't using "off the shelf" pistons because they will "CRASH" the dome.

Are you sure the compression is 180?

Did you buy this engine from DASA or a dealer?

Please call the shop and ask for Kyle and we will get your setup worked out.

Meucarango...here is the deal. If you want a baseline correct jetting spec for that motor/carb setup call Kyle at DASA. Dial the us code and 951-697-3441.

That will be a good place to start, but fuel is different all over the world. I don't have any direct experience with taking my own equipment from here and trying to tune it for Argentinean fuel. But I have a friend who bought a boat that was set up to run on fuel here, and it was way too lean using the fuel in Argentina. And when I have brought my motors to Brazil, I always have to richen them a little.

My recommendation to you would be to get a good baseline setting from DASA, and jump on mundojet.com.ar/ to find someone in your area that could help you dial the boat in. It is never as simple as just installing jets...

Again the easy way is to take it to Maxi...or another builder that you know and trust.
