Not for nothing but waternut was lowrollers biggest fan. He was helping hype the hell out of the stunt. I remember him posting dan is great and is offering a lifetime warranty. Guess that lifetime warranty didn't work out
I personally don't see a point to making a hull. Why waste all your free time and a good chunk of cash on something that might or might not work. If I want to gamble I go to Vegas. But hey if he wants to waste his free time building a copy of world worst hull instead of riding or getting laid. go for it

Too bad Yamaha didn't have this advice that the market is too small and its too much work back when they designed the superjet. Its innovation is their ppl calling the aftermarket company's telling them this every day?Look at how the quality and design of the hulls has changed since the sj was designed. How can you bash the guy thats willing to take and invest his time his money and come up with what he wants. Isnt that what wamilton,wcf,eme,lenzi,rick roy,xft,blowsion,lightweight de,superfreak ect sorry if i left anyone out.isnt that what they are doing.

Its all good discussion and the best thread going lately. I gotta thank BK for opening the thread and keeping the ball rolling. sorry for making you call me an a-hole, which I totally am. I also want to say to sportfisher guy (Area%! builder) that you got the best build thread going and we all want to know what your real thoughts are on your project and how you feel about it and why you got your superfreak.( i mean, i know why you got a superfreak, they are cool, they work good, and I think i almost want one too.) But tell us how much work it has been, how difficult or what regrets you have so far. Lots of us have modded our hulls, and have had thoughts about building our own. What is one to think when someone starts a thread like this. We all were glad to hear the stunt die, and then rumors of its rebirth in carbon form. How quickly we forget. If your going to build a hull you really need to be in it for the long haul. doing one hull in a garage is just not sane. just like building one 701 with powertools. Shot out to Demon because he knows what it is like to have to start a new thread because another is locked or doesn;t want to "post dump" . I started my own thread about the same thing not to be able to just bash on someone, but rather to steer the bashing to me, and away from someone else. Others cross referenced the threads to make sure that everyone knows whats what. When waternut actually posts in my thread, then what? can't keep his name out of it. Matte made it very clear that a construction worker and an engineer are both not hull builders. his words, not mine. haha. we both could do it, but not very well, especially the first time around. to be a hull builder one must start somewhere. i understand this, but as kevbo said so well, that if we all just start building our own hulls instead of buying them, the AM hull market will crash. If you want to mod your hull, go for it, look what can be done with a 300sx, or a superjet. when your ready to get something better, support a builder. Don't start making molds and selling some hulls to recover the cost, if you do, there will be more threads about pissed of customers waiting or disappointed in something. if you get thru all of that, and are going to acutually charge people money for you product with your name on it, make it superfreakin good.
