didn't even see you asked that question, must have read over it. But yes, a flag as in a pwc kit. Your supposed to carry a fire extinguisher, rope, flares, and a flag. Its just a big banner that opens up for signaling to people I guess:Banane26:

Here in NJ you don't need a flag, but you need a whistle. Technically I think, you need any "signaling" device. I use a whistle because I can just attach it to my vest. Ropes aren't requiired by law but are good to keep on you. Again, I guess it all comes down to any additional requirements your state may have.

you filed down the impeller? when it rubs usually it's because the wear ring is bad.the impeller doesn't expand the wear ring does.hmm it's been a long time since i had a kawasaki looks like you cant replace the wear ring like you can on a yamaha. i would have replaced the pump section though because i doubt your impeller was the problem.

yea I just wanted to be able to ride it until a new one comes. It will probably be massively slowed down BUT atleast I can give it a run before the seasons over, the guy I bought them from had this one apart and said he didn't ride either of them for months so I want them to get at least one good run each before the seasons over :(. In the process of finding a new pump housing and impeller. If anyone has one let me know thanks!

The ropes are required in NY, as well as visual and sound signaling devices.

Well, got out on the skis today. They ran excellent but my knee is killing me since I had surgery on it 2 years ago, all of the bouncing and of corse falling since its new to me has made it very stiff and painful. I hate to say it but the gotta go and I need a couch.... They are in the for sale section :(

I read this whole Thread for that? I was hoping you would get them out and love it. Being sore (real sore) is normal the first few times you ride. Riding A standup is one of the best workouts you can get on the water. Other
than your body being in pain What didnt you dig about riding,And how many
times did you take them out? When I rode A standup for the first time Five years ago it looked alot eaiser than it relly was but the challenge And the pain from riding is what sucked me in and now I cant give it up. Anyone can ride A Sitdown its easy All you do is sit your fat ass down And ripp on the gas thats why there is such A small Group of dedicated and sometimes Crazy Standup riders. Stick with it give it Another try!!:bigok:

How did a knee injury put you in a wheelchair for 8months btw? My cousin tore his acl badly, and he was only in crutches for a little then could walk on his own soon after, not run obviously, but certainly could walk. Even if you crushed your knee to pieces you could still walk with crutches if the other leg worked.

I liked everything about them, but it's not about being sore it's about my knee. Anyone who doesn't believe me can come to my house, when I squat and then get up they will crack like crazy and you can feel the bone popping out of my knee. When I broke it, the top of the bottom section of my knee cracked off and the ligament pulled it up and it got jammed between the two bones and I couldn't extend my leg at all. It was stuck slightly bent for about 2 weeks then the rest of the time after the surgery it was locked straight in the bloodsoe brace. Now I have to wear an $800 knee brace with any sports I play. Yes I was sore and I know that it takes some getting used to but the whole day im about half standing which is where my knee is weakest and now I can barely bend it in without pain:skull2:

yea I used the crutches for a little but they were very uncomfortable and VERY slippery on the school hallway floors so I switched to the chair
