My 62 y/o father just had his second knee replaced and was walking in 3 weeks... He is planning to ski this winter, just like he did after his last replacement. As long as the parts are replaceable, use them like God meant ya too. And no, he didn't mean for people to sit on couches.

i don't understand why everyone's dumping all over this guy. Unnecessary if you ask me. The reselling for the super high price may be a little shady but if the kid's knee hurts and he doesn't want to ride theres not much he can do about that.

if your sitting on a bike and tellin me you use your saturn grocery-getter to take your bike to the mx track then your a jackass. i rescind my apologies. youras typical as the examples i gave you.

anyways the reason i questioned all of your purchases was blasters havent been changed since the 80s, so what would the point of buyin new ones. kx250s are badass trail machines but were long outdated on an mx track, even in 05(here we go.) it seems like so many people jump into these sports not knowing what theyre doing and give the rest of us a bad name and, inconsequentially, get our lifelong riding areas closed. therefore i have an inclination to distrust and beguile those who seem to fit the profile. not sayin thats you but that was my initial reaction to your posts/sig. once gain, i sorry i mentioned it. it was out of line and unprovoked. most people here and in this sport are very welcoming and will help you out as much as they can because we all like to see more riders out there.
i hope you find a superjet and dont take anything i said personally.

For the one who asked how, it was riding bmx at a skate park. I did a jethop from a pole to another pole to grind down and slammed my knee on it then trhe ground. Yes its a donjoy knee brace and send that tootoo in size 31 please. Thanks

you've been working for what, maybe 2 years? pulling 20 grand a year while in high school is a lot.
