btw - it was a joke based upon steve's experience w/ chick (well known running joke)... Steve fixed that hood for me and it's fine... I don't think what I said qualifies as slanderous either...

Days 4-5

Removed casting imperfections and polished the intake grate. Epoxied the top rear section.

Went back and wet sanded the pump shoe seams again. It is smooth as a baby's bottom.

Installed and aligned the pump and midshaft. Installed the intake grate.
Started the Thrust Innovation trim system. Installed cable and pump parts.

Installed the steering cable.

Installed the xmetal scupper.

Day 5 continued:

Lucumpits was in the shop today. It was cold as hell for turfing today, but he is the turfmaster. He turfed the side with all its compound angles with one piece. It is lookin' good.

I got all the hull hooks and straps installed also.

It seems like it is starting to come together.

Day 6:

Worked all day, didn't get to work on ski until the evening.

Installed the hood seal and started hood and pole bracket alignment.

Thinking about a rear foot strap, anyone running one in addition to footholds? Too crowded in the tray?
