Can't wait to check that bad boy out at daytona.
On another note, I think everybody here has polished their shaft once or twice before!!:Banane26::Banane26:
:haha::haha:
I prefer not to do my own labor for that job. Some things are best left to a professional.
nice job and build
brass fiting beside one way valve pipe (on fire wall) is for close air chamber ?
are you going to polish the driveshaft as well?
thank you, yes there are 3 brass fittings for the 3 air chambers. I haven't put the plugs in yet.
I polish it before INSERTING it!
A light coat of lube before insertion can help if it's tight.
Looking really good there! Will you transfer the SS 827 motor from your black ski or what?
damn Chris... looking good. I feel like a loser, it is taking me days to turf my ski (no heat in the garage).
thought you were going to put a rear foot strap in?
I love my black ski in the surf with that motor so not right away. I will be posting the new motor pics soon.
The only reason my turf is done is because lucas did most of mine. I cranked up a propane heater and got the garage toasty before cracking open the flammable vapors from the glue.
I was, I really wanted to try one out, but I couldn't find a position that worked well for my ride style. I move my feet around alot when I ride. I ride goofy and regular stance as well as in the footholds. I ride surf stance alot with my rear foot in either foothold. This is natural for me and I would now be standing partially on the footstrap in this stance so I left it out. Time was also a factor.
