Rode the superfreak again today, the engine should be close to being 'broken-in' I think the impeller is spinning out of the hole and maybe a bit on top. I am going to swap for a taller pitch tomorrow.

Here are some pics of the hood with breather tubes installed and engine installed in the hull.

14/19 c75 is SS 849 power...not 701 power

It is a crazy lightweight hull though. I got the impeller switched and ski in the water for a few minutes before dark today. It is spinning that prop pretty nicely, will do some more testing tomorrow.

Even more reason it shouldnt be cavitating. Light hulls will scoot, heavy hulls will cause more cavitation. You should use like a 9/15 or 9/17 Hooker C75.

Chris I had to do the same thing on my Superfreak hull, light hull takes more prop! I think my Rickter with the SS could go up to the next pitch now.

I haven't posted up about this build in awhile, but it is long overdue, this is the best ski that I have ever had, x 2 or more.

My hat is off to Berky (tem) of Superfreak and Blue for the Jetmaniac ported 710. Together it is quite a package. Also I want to thank IKSTEJ (Pat) at xscream for his support with this build and for pushing the freeride movement forward with new products and innovation.
