Joe's mom just called with an update - absolutely no change in his condition. They really don't expect anything for at least a week. We have arranged to chat each day at 3:00, and I will pass on any info to you folks as quickly as possible.

Received an email update from Joe's brother Shawn this morning - still nothing new - which I personally take as a good sign.

For those if you who don't know me, I worked for the Sutter Neuroscience Institute for several years and know just enough about brain trauma to be dangerous....anything can happen at this juncture, but as we've said, he's not you're "Average Joe" (pun fully intended) so I'm hoping and praying that with his exceptional physical condition, his notorius hard head/strong will, plus his zest for life, Joe will come back to us 100% as soon as possible.

I await my 3:00 call from him mom and of course, will add any info asap.

In the meantime, Rob & Bobby Jo Kennedy have secured www.letjkknow.com and are working on the site as I type this. I'll let you know as soon as it's funcitonal so you can leave you well wishes there.

Kevin Cullen from PWC TV has contacted me and will be placing donation info for Joe on their website - apparently he's had a lot of inquiries from all over the world too as to how folks can help.

Finally, I sometimes get frustrated with folks in this sport, but I must say, we are fortunate to have so many caring individuals world wide who are bound together because of our sporting passion and the people like Joe we've met through the sport. Please accept my personal thanks for all your thoughts, prayers and financial sacrafices in Joe's honor.

Keep the positive mojo flowing gang,
LP

Thanks buddy....I'd like to add some photos of Joe to the site so when he's feeling up to it he can peruse them - perhaps jog his memory, so please feel free to go to the new site and post your pictures and stories. I think this will be a huge help for Joe.

Thank you all for your continued expressions of love for Joe....please be sure to share your stories, pictures and thoughts at the new, centrally located website we have created for Joe at www.letjkknow.com

No changes on Joe's condition as of 4:37 p.m. today per his mother - still in ICU, still on life support, still critical, but stable. I try hard to only call her once per day if I haven't heard from her, and she and his brother Shawn have been such troopers...really appreciate their patience with his "watercraft family" prodding them for updates - they are exceptional people and truly need our support and love as well.

More neuro tests scheduled for tomorrow - keep the faith everyone.
