Oem style fuel line ftw.

Visu-fuel filters work great JM also has those

McMaster sale colored 3/8 hose if you want to be fancy with the water lines

Battery, I like bike master lithium size 16 battery, but it is the same size as ytz14s, which is also a great battery, just kind of heavy.

How about bilge pump(s)? I run 2 rule 500gph, glued down with sikaflex, and a Ultima float switch (has no moving parts).

Hood safety straps? extra insurance for failed rolls etc.

Pole limiting rope, a must imo. unless you like cracking your ski for breaking your pole... I've done both lol.

Alright, some good points. I'll add the pole limiting strap. Hood already has a ratchet strap.
Bilge pumps a good point too, I'll look into all it's bits.

Thanks guys, anything else I'm missing?

Should of came with a pole pad, usually the new owner has to glue it on.

Hood latch and ratchet strap or just ratchet setup? I always run a secondary safety on all on my skis. loosing a hood to the lake/ocean makes for a bad day.

It has the front hood latch and a ratchet strap, not sure how the strap works honestly. I've spent maybe a total of an hour with the ski and that was pulling the pump out...so I know very little about it.

Sounds like you should be good then.

Well dang, the old rockets and predators came with pole pads that matched the trey turf, trying to cut costs I guess.

How about some zip ties and stainless hose clamps ?

I can help save you a little time on the coupler/dampener install. The Krash couplers are pretty tight ( good thing ) I put 1 coupler on the motor then a little wd40 on the dampener then put the midshaft coupler on. I used a rubber mallet to ge it together. You could use a pice of wood and a hammer if you don't have a rubber mallet. I then set the engine in carefully and I lined it up and hand spun the coupler ( make sure to remove spark plugs ) on to the mid shaft. Some times I had to hold the mid shaft and turn the coupler. This is after getting my alignment done of course. I dont see how you could get the motor in sliding it together as the fit is very tight. Wait until
You ride this thing! it's 1 Awesome ski.

Do engine coupler alignment with the rubber dampner not installed. I wouldn't run the cast krash coupler, the fingers aren't straight and cast breaks easy. RRP or ADA billet couplers.

They are hard to line up since they aren't straight. It's on my list to replace as well

Nice, thanks guys! Keep it coming, hope to make an order tomorrow and get this thing in the water soon! The problems so far have been discouraging so I hope that turns around.

Did you have any issues with the engine mount plate alignment? @Ochocoronas

I had no issues with motor mount plate. I only had to add a couple of shims to the front of the motor but nothing crazy. I am running Cold Fusion motor mounts. Only thing I had a problem with was the scupper letting water in. That's a non issues for me because I am going to block the scupper off. I have a bilge pump and see no reason to have a whole running directly into the middle of my hull.

I had to drill and tap all new holes on the motor mount plates. The holes from the factory were so far off. Mine came with a pole pad on it. I used a workout mat from target under my gas tank, I think I posted that on a limited slip thread. Make sure you double check that all your hardware is torq'd before you ride the first time. I made the mistake of not double checking the motor mounts and one rattled loose, caused the b-pipe to come off. Fun first ride to say the least but a surprisingly easy fix.
