I went back and checked out the CAD images from the Krash video

looks like the engine mount spacing is different than Yamaha. Check out the chamber clearance. However, I am sure if these motors take off there will be a Yamaha to Krash bedplate conversion kit coming soon. Also looks like the left rear motor mount is tucked in closer to the cases than Yamaha. I like the face value changes they made versus the Yamaha 701 platform.

I'll bet Krash just has different engine plates for their hulls that you swap out. I wonder if that power plant will fit in a rickter since it has the sliding mounts. Who's to stop anyone from getting that motor you could just lie and say you have a Krash already

@emcfetr1 your getting super defensive over this. The motor has 150mm rod spacing, that means the exhaust manifold is different...and if you look at those renderings the headpipe is a totally different angle too. It's not anything from factory pipe. They can't even keep up with the demand for 6 months ago, you think they have time to take on completely new castings and a new chamber design? I don't think so. I'll bet the manifold and headpipe are made in Thailand in the same casting plant they build the pumps

You guys need to take your popcorn away from the computer, sit on the couch, and just enjoy the show.

Only thing this place brings is negativity. This site used to be full of information. Now it's full of speculation and hate. You guys should be stoked. If your scared, go to church.

We're going big. Your either for progress, or against it. We'll be over here doing it regardless of what the "forum experts" have to say.

@x2mafia I'll bring you a violin, a dead horse, and a tape recorder to grayland this year.

I can't wait for my RTP ski to arrive.

Change is scary by human nature. We are giving this 100% and we all want this to work. You guys should too.

Hell yeh. Hope you guys sell a ton of them man.

It's so funny how people forget that tigercraft and rickter both had pretty big issues with their hulls when they first came out. Some of them still do I won't personally bash a product for skis. But one of the brand mentioned I've seen 4 dif skis in person have stress cracks and chips breaking off.

Krash ftw

Yea your absolutely right. We had problems in 2013 which was our first year in business and a few small ones in 2014 not multiple years after making skis lol, was cool to see one of the first 5 hulls I ever built at wavedaze and it was still in really good shape. every company will have problems at some point ,but it's what you do after those problems that make your product and company reputable. I'll admit I let all the goons on here feed my fire. Look at how that turned out. It's a tough Balance of being the owner and worker and I've done my best so far to keep up with what I can on the customer service side of things, but I will never compromise quality and I hope they don't either.

Man. You remind me of trendsetterz. It's whatever. I like tiger craft. Alot. Almost got one but you guys were gonna take too long. Not really tho cause my poop ain't even done still. But the way I see you find a way to go against krash so hard, I dunno if I'd choose different. I like anything to do with standup. I talk poop yeh. But something big like this, is nothing but good for what I like to do. And that's ride surf. Im.not even that good at it. But I know that the more people out there doing it, the more parts and skis, and cheaper they are for me. I don't like arguing about poop. Especially not on a page that's going to get a ton of hits from Google when people search krash new product. It's not fair to be bashing something none of you have even tried. Put yourself in the same boat. That's all. I've also had some.beers

Are you drinking or just illiterate? :)

Personally I think Krash has stepped up big and helped people, when the mistake was obvioulsy theirs. That says a lot about a company and where they are going. I commend the first wave of souls who slap down $12k on one of these! I hope they get it right and create a new market segment!

This thread is so facked, whats even more facked is 80% of you keyboard cowboys have less than subpar skills on any boat you get on. It's funny hearing some of you idiots talk. "My 61x with a mag pump does flat water flips"

It seems you are indirectly bashing one of two of the above mentioned. Judging by your avartar picture, any hull you probably own will get stress cracks with that goon style going on with that bail.

Some of you nerds don't even compete or ride enough to even give a valued opinion.

Probably both. But I don't correct my poop unless I feel the people reading it won't be able to understand. Might as well clutter this thread with more bullpoop since that's what the vast majority is

Lol. It probably would. I don't happen to live right next to waves. Doesn't change the fact I've seen.multiple.hulls with cracks. And judging by your reply so have you. Keyboard warriors. Pot meet kettle

Yeah , well I do live near the waves and I do ride.... a lot actually. I don't care what Krash does and hopefully it works out for everyone who buys one ,but my problem is wingnuts like you so talk nonsense on here. You probably own a Superjet and never built any aftermarket ski yet. That's my assumption , but I can be wrong .

I'm gonna stop quoting you cause it's doing weird poop. But the skis I've built and own have jack shiat to do with krash new hull. Nor does my riding skills or lack thereof. Not sure what your all mad about. Maybe your trying to pump yourself up or something. This ain't mx dude. We're all friends here. If you live near waves good for you. Glad you can flip and do all that at your leisure. They hand out pretty cool trophies at those events. I tried in the beginning of this pos thread to be positive and keep it on track. Re read the whole thing and you will see 4 or 5 people constantly posting negative comments. It's whatever tho. I'm just a keyboard warrior. That's why I got 2k posts like all you guys. Lol

I have less post than you and don't get on here much, but yeah I might have came off a little harsh but...

Here's the thing.... when you are out there pushing limits on any of these boats you are bound to break gel coat and get stress cracks and chips breaking off. So to mention that one of them brands that you saw had that issue isn't farfetched. Those riders might really ride their skis and not just for example ride a lake where it's less likely to happen.

When is somebody going to build a Spark style standup? Cheap and disposable? Problem is $12k is still a lot..... parents can get their kids dirt bikes or 4 wheelers for $1k. This sport needs more youth involvement instead of a bunch of middle aged, over opinionated wankers. $12k RTR skis will be nice but we need to get it around the $3-5k range to really help the sport.

They're called used kawasakis. 500-1000 for a 550-650 and you ride it a few times until it breaks( then you repair or upgrade) or you stop riding because it's too hard.

The used superjet ski market is 3-5k. Much more reliable of a starter ski. Way more to upgrade from and transition to an AM ski.

What we do on these skis isn't as easy as picking up a surfboard, skateboard or bicycle or a scooter. Hell, even a 4 wheeler and dirt bike is easier to get, to ride, and to wrench on.

Take a look at the below average, American rider. They can't even change a tire on their bike. They have to bring it to a shop where they also pay the shop to put on new grips.

The only youth involvement this sport is going to get is from the "above average" and people like myself who work their asses off from around the world that it has always gotten. It's a niche sport after all.

Call me a middle aged over opinionated wanker all you want, I'm right

Freeriding:Youth involvement will mostly come from our own children and those who somehow get hooked up with a good riding group.

Recreation/freestyle: Kids who live on or near lake who get their hands on a beater ski, fall in love, and learn to wrench on it and upgrade.
