Anyone in the Michigan area receive their RTP?
I received two in April. One flatwater and one surf. So far my flatwater has a half a tank before stater relay went bad stuck starter open had to unhook battery to stop it from starting. Cdi went out. Hasnt been back on the water in over a month. Paint and graphics are really bad quality. I mean if you bump it at all they scratch. Clear coat is joke I don't think they even wiped them down before painting. The engine seemed to have good power. Ski is heavy as ****.
I am up in south haven this weekend with my blue surf version. Gonna do the break in. Hoping this one will not have problems.
The price would be really unbelievable if the quality was there, but the issues I'm having make me wish I would have only bought one first. Hopefully I'm not stuck with two turds. Guess I'll know after this weekend.
I have a blowsion built rickter and while it's more than twice the money I go out every weekend and ride worry free.
The guys from krash are awesome and do everything possible to help but I'd rather spend more money and enjoy my weekend than deal with what I'm experiencing.

Yup that's the same weight as my shortened and widened, highly reinforced SJ. Not impressive in weight by any means. Seems like these were mainly designed to be surf boats and they adjusted it to provide a "flatwater". Regardless I have one order lol. Mainly cause you can barely get a 1000cc motor package for $8-10k, so why not buy a whole ski for $12k.

Well, Glass Rickters are heavy. But I think their hulls are actually designed really well and the performance shows, where as many Light AM hulls will flip easy but ride like poop. They flip because of light weight and lots of power......... So, If the Hydro Design is good then the weight may not be an issue.

You get what you pay for seems to be showing true for this ski roll-out.

I get what you are saying regarding the cost of a motor vs a whole ski. But for me personally reliability is key and quick fixes are paramount. I get 3 good months of summer riding a year along with another 2-3 months in a wetsuit. Every weekend i miss due to mechanical problems is a huge deal to me. If a part breaks i want to order it that same day and have it there the next. Waiting 1 - ??? weeks for Krash to get me a part is unacceptable for me personally. Between the many issues they had with their parts prior to the RTR skis, the wait time and delays on these being delivered, and the mechanical issues they are having and the long wait on replacement parts, it is not a good fit for me.

Not to mention my ski is 100lbs lighter...

I feel like we should keep a running tally of issues people are having so new people can confirm with Krash that these issues will be corrected on the next skis. Something as simple as a carb cover should not be having issues, ever.

I just bailed, got my deposit back and glad. I see their vision at what they want to do and hope they get there. But I dont need a ski thtat needs to be worked on that takes weeks to get parts.

I love the idea of a RTR complete ski, but i have no interest in building them or working on them. I have one race car and I wish I had more seat time in it then I do the hundreds of hours wrenching I have in it.

I am the exact person that krash is trying to reach as a market. I got into water sports laster year, started on a rxt sold it, bought a 2017 spark trixx for wave jumping (we send it up there off 40ft boat wakes) and now trying to get into a fix steer freestyle ski.

Call the spark a pig all you want, but 90 hours on it trouble free is what I am all about.
