Well no progress on the hull, got caught up with stuff for the Formula team. Having fun working with all this carbon fiber so I cant help but post more pics of it!

Here is Abbott shaping his foam core for the intake.

And after 5 layers of carbon. Still need to finish sand it and then either do a coat of resin or clear it a few times.

Also got the nose and one of the side pods mounted. Spent quite a few hours trimming and test fitting to get everything lined up good. Theres some ugly seams from not having hard enough edges on the molds so I think Im going to hit those areas with epoxy+microballons and then do some flat black striping. The rest of the body will be left carbon with lots of clear over top.

Had some free time earlier this evening and managed to cut the tray out of the hull.

I was surprised to find wet foam inside, good thing I finally decided to cut into it.

Finally have almost all the major pieces sourced out for this build now, but decided I might as well add a few more to the list. Thinking about going with a set of the adjustable RRP footholds as well as a Boyesen intake mani. Any recommendations for reeds? Rad's or V-Force?

Im not really sure hopefully someone can chime in with some info. I guess it would either be the Boyesen setup or R&D with the V-Forces, are there many other options?

Not really other than dasa intake, ATP has manifolds, but think they have just single or dual 48 mm intake

Found out today from boysen u dnt need there intake mani to use there rad valves

I think I'm going to run the stock cages with carbon pedals but still get the Boyesen intake. Could always swap the reeds down the road I suppose. Looks like everything for the short-block will be here tomorrow, now I just need to order a gasket set and some clean hardware from JetManiac.

Ive used the carbon tech reeds in stock cages better than stock imo
