FX-1 making the first Tom21 carbon fx1

Maybe I missed it but are you using epoxy? I saw in the first post mention of primer. That's the same thing we do. I'm going to estimate low 60s. Looks really good!

The first hull is bagged epoxy and carbon. That belongs to chasingdaylite. The next hull will be mine and will be glass and infused and I plan on pushing the limits on weight. It's gonna be as light or lighter than the carbon.

Right now we are working on shortening the hull and having built in hull extensions to make it adjust from stock to -6. This is taking some time.

fx fitment.jpgPat is making some progress, motor mount, pto, pump inserts, pipe and scupper are done or fitted. the rear is shortened -6. He is onto fitting tank and bpipe and fitting topdeck. getting close.
 
Still following this thread...Please keep us updated as much as possible..I can't wait to see how this thing handles. Wish I could test ride one...I am down that way quite often with work...

Come up to Ohio and you can ride mine; it is built pretty much the exact same way except with wider rails. This will be a very fun ski for sure.

you can see the black under the bondo is the original rail. it is 2 inches wide and 2 inches on the angle down
