Looks good.:headbang: What are you gonna do with the rideplate mounts? This is the one reason i didn't shorten my new RN hull. Are you just gonna reglass them in closer?

Yes, I am going to glass them back into the hull a bit closer to the front inserts.

Yes, I ordered carbon/kevlar.

They do sell just carbon. Simply search their website for "carbon".

Got more work done. I cut the rear hull pieces down and sanded them to prepare for glassing.
They still need some more massaging for better fit.
I also cleaned off the big piece of tray I cut out. See picture.
This piece had some wet foam on it that I ground off, as well as some thickened epoxy on top.
Before tonight, it weighed in at about 1500 grams, or 3 lbs.
After cleaning it up, it now weighs 138 grams, ladies and gentlemen. :bigeyes: :bigok:
I just lost 2-1/2 lbs.

You trying to get as light as my boat LOL Looks good man!! Your braver than I am. Good news my boat will be here next week! wont have any time to work on it just yet but I can drool on it

Got more work done, but not much. Just filled in some gaps with thickened epoxy.
And I got my WDK Hood and XMW Pole today (both used)

Hood & Nose weigh in at 16.0lbs, pole is 10.5lbs

The hoodliner has issues, as expected. It's lose only in the back, but I'll need to do something about it.
