I have a roll of blue/black waffle cut and another roll of green/black waffle cut. I was planning on using the blue/black in the tray and the green/black on the rails.
That may change depending on how the final graphics look. I have another weekend of graphics to do, then it's on to clear coat. Maybe I can settle on a turf scheme then.
Peww, this build is sure taking a while.
As it happens with any project, I bought another useful tool.
After seeing just how great it is to have a good work light, I went & bought a 1400W tripod work light. Great for lighting the place up AND heating it. Works awesome for getting proper lighting during painting and then having the heat to cure the paint.
Should also come in handy for winter garage work.
Btw, I can take very little credit for the paint work. My buddy Dave did the design, ordered materials, provides the space and the tools, cuts the vinyl, and offers critical advice. I just pull the trigger on the paint gun (very poorly at that).
I am scared of doing the clear coat.

Don't worry about the clear...you can wet sand out almost anything.
