im glad you like it
I dicked around with it for half the day yesterday, and it's definitely not a trim issue. That Wammer nozzle just turns A LOT. More than the steering cable can provide, that's for sure.
oem steering cables have plenty of travel. you must set the turnplate so the cable is on the farthest out position. this requires turning the steering stop 90 degrees. once you have full centered steering cable throw, turning lock to lock, you can proceed to setting the turn nozzle. by putting the cable farther out on the turn plate, and turning the steer stop, you will have full travel of the cable with not having to turn the bars as far. this is quick steer. now adjust the turn nozzle to be centered with the bars and ski. by moving the steer nozzle attach point in, closer to the nozzle, the nozzle will turn farther. Getting this all dialed in perfect takes time and you do not want any streaching or binding of the cable. good luck, your ski looks like it rips awesome.
I did all that. I spent close to six hours on it. I've had to do plenty of finagling with steering throws in the past.
The issue is simply that the steering attachment point on the nozzle goes through about 5.5 inches of travel. There is no fixing that that with a 4 inch throw cable.
The closest I could get it was using the outermost point on the turn plate (I do that anyways) and drilling a new hole closer to the nozzle (I usually do that will all my steering nozzles, too).

I forgot to bring the scissor stand and I didn't have my trailer with me.
So it was beach cart time. Besides, I wanted to try out that cart.
I'll have no issues beaching it on actual sand, but rocky Columbia shores.....eh, I don't think so.
FYI: my freak is a ridiculous beast with my stock stroke stock cylinder big bore motor. More than once my hand came off the bars, plenty of times I jumped way further/higher/more crooked than anticipated.
I don't know how you hang on with a liter motor.
You know the funny thing is we never stop playing with the motor, props, lighter FW's to make them hit even harder.... There great if you haven't rode in a few wks, but ride every week and you want more!
