Mid-season refresh is complete. Went riding for a good long time today and she ran pretty well. The new coil definitely made a decent difference on the upper end and with trick recovery, and now I guess I can try my hand at tuning stuff again.

Big thanks to @jo5hi3 for towing me back in when I ran out of gas. There were just so many boats to chase for a little while and right when I told myself I should really go back in to check my gas level....I ran out lol. #datKartTankLife.

Installed the new coil. Installed an OCD start/stop harness. I was using one out of a VXR and it was literally 3 feet long outside the ebox lol. My new harness is 3 inches outside the ebox. Also redid all of the cooling lines to clean up the bay a bit.

Parallel cooling with a b-pipe and 2 into one out the head, haven't seen that to much, how you like it ? Have you temp tested the engine and what's your water temp in the lake ? After break in my buds is running cool, parallel might be the way to go for him too

A lot of people run 3 pissers with this setup it seems. Each outlet on the head has its own pisser but its unnecessary I think. If you look at a bigger dasa motor, they have 4 outlets on the head and a lot of times, those 4 outlets are paired together and go to two pissers. I was always taught that for the most part, two cooling lines in, two pissers out. 1 to 1 relationship.

This setup works well for me I guess. Lake temps are probably 75-80 right now.

Your cooling set up looks most ideal imo, pressure for the pipe, and single cooling for the engine with one pisser so it's not being over cooled. We're working on getting our engine temps up, the true dual cooling we have with 60/65 degree water is to much cooling. might switch.

Do you know your engine temp

I dont know my engine temps, but I guess I could get a couple of those temp strips and check it out.

meh, too late for all that lol. My setup works well, and I kind of like having one pisser for the motor and one for the pipe, so I can tell which one quit if one ever decides to quit.

You can run split cooling or traditional. Only difference is your not preheating the water before it enters the pipe. I have ran both, both work. I ran it with great success in my Stock Class SXR.

Makes sense. Maybe Ill mess with it in the off season (which doesnt really exist in NC :D)
