Just a tiny little update....its all about the details baby! Big thanks to @Balduccimoto for offering a creative and quality project. He is literally so skilled, that he was able to duplicate the WDK font from scratch since that font isnt a standard offering.

I'm not quite fond of your routing either, but understand you don't want to change it, so I have a couple simple things you might try...
- The hoses on either side of the Flow Control Valve: switch them so the valve is closer to the chamber for more accurate water delivery.
- A Y would be better to combine the cylinders, but try having the two cylinder lines coming in from the top of the T and the pisser coming from the bottom; should even out flow and temperature between the two cylinders. Right now, your front cylinder flows straight through the T and the rear cylinder has to merge in with a 90 degree bend...

Just remember, if you wanted "good enough", you'd still be riding a super jet with a 650 or 701. You spent all this money, you should want the most out of it that you can get!

I completely agree with you, those are good suggestions which I will try. Ive been meaning to get a y fitting for the top of the head actually...just one of those things that gets away from me. But I didnt even consider moving the valve closer to the stringer, but that makes sense.

And I agree with you on spending all the money want wanting to most out of it. However, for the sake of my sanity, I try to let good enough be ok until I get more free time to upgrade and do things like you have suggested. There have been certain times in my life where I have let jetskis consume all my thoughts and time, and it cluttered up my normal thoughts and cost me some friendships, which just isnt worth it to me. So I have pulled back the pedals a little bit and taking time to smell the flowers :)

Good thing this weekend is labor day, I will have a little extra time to spend some time on these little details.

Optimally though, how would you run the cooling lines. High-level overview is all im looking for. Keep in mind out lake temps probably average 75 degrees during most of riding season.

Both pump lines to the exhaust manifold. One cylinder to the bottom of head pipe. Top of head pipe T'ed to stinger and pisser, other cylinder to the second pisser.

Ok thats what I was thinking from reading about it. Wouldnt really be hard to change...just a little time consuming. Pop off the head pipe, get rid of manifold T, put both lines on manifold, run hose from back cylinder to bottom of headpipe, and run hose from front cylinder to pisser. Maybe I will get ambitious this weekend LOL!

This way your are keeping the cylinders equally cooled. Then you use the outboard water for pipe cooling. Plus, if a line gets clogged, you have a backup.

Matt, This is how we have our HPE set up and after break in the engine temp dropped so now it's running too cold in 60 to 65 ish water. We will have to install restricter to get the correct temp 140 to 150.

I think it's at 112 cylinder head temp in 65 deg water so if at 75 deg water it'd still be cold at 122..

My point is, you too may start over cooling, so taking temp reading and restricting may be needed

Better get practicing. Roseand is supposedly getting his hull on Tuesday and will have flipped it within a week. ;)

Im finally nosing them all in. Just need that little extra few degrees of rotation so the rocker on the ski can land and recover without darting into the water.

I think I have the mechanics and timing down decent, but really need to work on body form.

Update on backflip completion?

Nope, probably havent ridden in 2 weeks. Been in Disney all this week with my fam, and spent the previous week getting ready for the trip.

Pretty much can nose most of them in, my form is terrible as seen in a few pictures and I dont really have any recordings or people that know what they are talking about watching me so its really a whole lot of trial and error. This is my last vacation for the year until Christmas, so I still have plenty of riding to do during the week and weekends. Ill get one soon.

Southern Fried, it's happening. Plenty of people and cameras, we'll dissect the hell out of it til you're around.
