more pics. I also included pics of my diablo hood where the gelcoat is bubbling. This was after sitting outside under a cover and not used at all. WDK didn't return my calls about that (big surprise).

check out my new graphics

I decided to use the ebay graphics kit since no on wanted to buy it. I wanted to change it up so that it was still unique so I had a local graphics shop make me some high definition graphics. The yamaha symbol was replaced with the imperial and rebel insignias from star wars. They are high def metallic with a raised look to them. I had numbers made to match. I'm not that much of a star wars freak, but I decided to copy my tattoo that I got while I was in college. My tattoo and my ski now match.

Looks good

I like it, looks great! Your right about the loud part! My ears ring after riding mine for a while! But at least it makes everyone look! LOL

If you get stand ups banned on Tobo, I'm bombing your house...:hitwithrock:

Actually though, if that thing is as loud as my 750 was when I blew up the waterbox and ran nothing...you'll get sick of it in no time...or Brande will and force you to take it out. LOL Hopefully it's quieter than that though.

I'm not doing the front exhaust, so hopefully it will not be rediculously loud. Do your ears ring even with a helmet on? There is one guy with a sitdown that I don't think even has a waterbox. The cops don't mess with him, hopefully they will leave me alone too.

My ski has the x metal water box with the front exhaust, it gets loud after awhile. I think my ears ring more with the helmet on! LOL

I can't wait to see how loud my new motor will be!

Ahhh yes... The guy with red jetski and the Mexicans with their Tigersharks. All sound like they should be going 70 mph but they're barely passing pontoon boats. lol

On the plus side...I'm sure yours won't continuously drone like those things do.

It's finally done!

My MSD brain crapped out during the install so I had to steal my other one from my wife's ski. Aparantly brains don't like it when your air gap is wrong and you melt a pickup with the flywheel.

Total loss curve is 29 advance, 9000 limit, 6000 start retard, 15 retard at max.

Ski now has a LPW 771 flat top motor, silver aftermarket Mikuni 44's set up by LPW, Boyesen manifold and reeds, Factory B pipe with a TNT chamber, and a Hooker 10/16 prop with bored nozzle and wetwolf cone.

The X-metal box with rear only exhaust actually sounds pretty good and is not rediculously loud.

The ski has hard hitting, but smooth, strong power and Paul Lehr was awesome about helping me out even though I bought the motor used from someone else. Thanks Paul!
