i am sure whom ever started this thread has bought his new ignition by now so we might as well talk about something cool until the next dis or testimonial gets posted.

timing change?

Yeah, timing change to MSD... The flame is great, but it's got little issues that I personally can't deal with anymore.

And I know some guys are thinking it's just my ski, my install ... Nope got others running same setup with little issues...

i am sure another flash update will fix the problem. speaking of updates, msd has all the manuals and faq on the new website. i have a feeling that msd is constantly updating the brains and dealing with the brains failing by changing some of the internals. how long has the HSR curve option been on the multichannel? i just noticed it yesterday.

idles is set high, and ski always stall before hit the wake, and what happen?

rider go over the pole and slam the chin on the pole, that mean open chins , blood all over people passing out, helicopter rescuing people, just a mess.

all-a-board....I think I can stoak the crazy thread.

I guess MSD's Multi Spark is needed to keep the plugs from fouling because it's a two channel system that fires one sparkplug at a time. OEM and ATP uses a single coil that is required to make more volts than the MSD because it has to jump both sparkplugs gaps(waste spark system). "MSD's Multi Spark" sure does sound badass.

note: On some NGK plugs, a internal air gap is built into the sparkplug to raise the volts required to arc across it. NGK calls it a "booster gap". Champion calls this feature an "auxilliary gap".

Jumping two parallel plug gaps doesn't require any more voltage than jumping a single gap.
The energy is cut in half, though. (Less current)
