Super Jet My First RN Build - Complete rebuild, shorten, and rocker!

There was two sections of the stator harness that were cut and crimped. then 1 more soldered connection at each end inside the ebox and stator. To aggrivate me a little more half the connection points switched to a different wire color.....Also the stator was a mix of parts with a 62t mounting plate with 61x coils. Blew my mind that someone could be ok with doing that...

Lol. I'm slowly figuring it out but I should have caught most this when I was buying it. Got so giddy about getting a superjet I think it could have had a cardboard cutout of a motor with 701 written on it and I wouldn't have noticed lol.

Thanks Matt so ive decided im for sure going to port my motor, the mismatch between the sleeve and casting is just bothering me too much. Also the exhaust port is quite small along with all the case flaws. Ive heard of people using race logic porting templates but i cant seem to find them online anymore so does anyone have a set of templates they wanna sell?

Also anyone know anything about Speedwerx high comp girdled heads for the 701's? Mine has one and I'm super sketched that I literally cant find any info on it.

Also... I'm for sure porting and epoxying my top case. Mainly just filling the voids and opening up the intake tract (tunnels to transfers). This is what I've been looking at for the epoxy, http://www.devcon.com/products/products.cfm?brand=Devcon&family=Aluminum Liquid (F-2)

Tested my coil already and they are good to go. I may attempt to replace the wires myself butif that fails then ocd sounds good lol.
Apparently I didn't pay any attention to the head when I took it off lol. Definitely domes. See pics.
