My X2 Build

x2's are the greatest sounding skis, they remind me of the sounds of grand prix two stroke race bikes, that sounds great

Thanks!! I was VERY pleased with the sound. I'm still young enough to like loud stuff, and this is DEFINITELY loud. The waterbox I went with looks identical to the old mariner boxes. Just not stamped mariner in the front. Otherwise looks to be the same box. Weighs NOTHING. I bet it weighs 1/4 the weight of a stocker. On top of that I'm not using the stock anchors, I mean waterbox mounts. Just can't get over how quick this thing launches. Can't wait for tomorrow.

The night before Pensacola. Finally done. Almost.
Can't really see the colors well as my camera blows. But you get the idea! Lime green, and grey turf.

No padding???? Why!?

You have no idea how much padding is under there man. This is one of the softest ski's you'll ever ride. :fing02: 2 layers of 3/4 neoprene under the seat area and one in the trays, with other misc pad almost everywhere under the turf.

thought i would post a few updates to addicts x2. It has received a custom F/A cover. Its been drinking like a fat girl at happy hour, this should stop that!
Also added x2guys custom trim piece (thanks Gino). This thing is trick, gives the nozzle a ton of throw, and much easier to pull and hold then the modded stock piece. also added a wet wolf cone and swapped to a stock w/box.
Got a few stickers in the process to cover the battle scars.

w/ the new baby i will not be making pismo this year.
Understandibly, my offer goes out to all riders as well. I just want to see how pricey airfare gets for next January before I decide 100%, but as of now I am still going. We wanted to ship a ski down, but I feel its going to be cost prohibitive even with 3 guy's sharing the cost.

working up the balls for backys on the x2 as well
Its all about wave selection, Caker gave me the 20/20 on how to practice and select the right wave, and I have done the hard part landing 100% upside down and flat. Now its time to let it fly, perhaps when we get down to Tierra on the 4th.:sneaky:
