Are canadian riders allowed to compete at a close by regional event like in NJ or NY. If so how would one go about setting that up, i was looking at the awa national site and really not sure where to look all this info up.

You can enter any regional comp that you want.
Just find out who the promoters are and there schedules.

Try the ijsba site, I think they list promoters
