New EME exhaust system for superjets!

ok thanks
so whats to stop water flowing back into the motor if theres no water box? i mean when the ski is in the water but not running, and you capsise it or sumthin?

couldnt something be put like on the exhaust outlet at the back? or something like a scupper that closes? maybe inside the system?
surely that would solve the problem?

Before I would even consider buying one, I'd like to see back to back dyno runs where this pipe will produce 20hp more than a Bpipe.

Steve, do you mean the pipe will be similar to a FP but manufactured by EME or it will be manufactured by FP? I'm confused.

Doug

It would be sold through EME but developed by Mark (malone's tech) who used to do R&D at FP and makes the pipes . These pipes where developed on the dyno to achieve the additional 20+hp. If you ever had a chance to ride Malone's boat, you would understand! 200+ hp!

The other benefit of this "Malone" type of exhaust is that it balances the ski more instead of the ski being heavy on one side. This pipe alone would not balance it but it would be better than with the "B" pipe. His ski sits very neutral in the water, and part of it is that there is no water box.

My SJ sets way to the right front, away from my b-pipe.

Exactly, the factory exhaust was more balanced. Heavy exh, heavy battery, water box, etc. As you change parts out the balance point moves. My SXR now lays to the front and way to the right. That is because the heavy OEM exh is now off and the wet pipe is lighter. This makes the carb side heavier. Malone played with engine location as well as exh, battery, etc to make his ski neutral. I probably made my point more confusing by mentioning that, but what I was getting at is that less weight is another advantage of this set up. You may be able to make you ski more neutral by using the back left hand side for the battery location.

and the best part is that it leaves the engine compartment open and will easily clear exhaust valves
the only drawback is that you will have to run a small gas tank

Doesnt have to be a small tank, just a different one, WDK makes a 6ga that will work I believe.
