Fox, you are dead on............ stock to mild stay with the B Pipe, but if your running a Big Stroker flat top or a Lamey, then this pipe would have potential

Thanks. Too bad I don't have a lamey engine.... the only way I am gonna get one of those is if I win the lottery, get a divorce, or keep it a secret :sneaky:

b-pipe for me for now....

Could you snap a Clear picture of the pipe in the hull without a tank?

Depending on what I'm lookin at I can mold a large capacity polycarbonate tank.

on a stock to lim engine...woudl the Bpipe and the malone pipe be approximately equal?

or will the bpipe outshine it with a limited setup.....

The pipe isn't even available yet, and even if anyone has a prototype, do you think they have tested it on enough varieties of motors to be able to answer that?

Wait just a second.... EME boats use POLARIS based engines. Are they making a yamaha version of this pipe, too??

Thread title:
New EME exhaust system for superjets!

First post:

Well, I had the pleasure of spending 12 days in the Bahamas with Eric Malone and Mark (his tech) and having some great conversations regarding the direction of our sport and possibly the development of a New EME FP exhaust system for the superjet. As many know, Mark was involved with the development of the dry pipe and many other FP products. According to dyno specs, this exhaust system should produce 20 hp more than the B pipe:cool2
What they want to see is a general interest for a new exhaust system. The price range will be about $1000 for the complete system that would include an in-line reasonator prior to reaching the rear exhaust outlet.

I'm guessing it's for a Superjet. :dunno:

If you look at the Polaris Octane (and the EME motors) they use an adapter plate to allow them to run a standard, off-the-shelf Yamaha exhaust manifold (well off the Factory Pipe shelf). So, if EME builds it for Yamaha 61X/62T-based motors, it will also work for their Polaris motors (using an adapter plate).

I am interested b/c it should be compatable with the 66e platform as well using a WDK manifold

just want to update all i have to say is UNBELIEVABLE !!!! We just tested the EME superjet pipe on a 5mm lamey with single carb and i would say min 25% power increase . Did i say unbelievable . I cant wait till this product is out there . This will be the number 1 bolt on item availble to modified superstock type engines . We have yet to test on other engines which I know others are wondering but we will keep you posted and i will show pics at the end of are testing . Great job Mark on the pipe

25% increase as in....that lamey you tested had a hypothetical power of 110HP with B-pipe, and now it has 138HP?

that is what i would say . not that anyone actually dynos anyway or has any idea of what 110 hp is versus 138 hp but i would say a min of maybe 20% dont be sceptic this real power from just a pipe change . i you loved a change from a stock exhaust to a b pipe then you will be blown away by this . i can only imagine what it would have been like if we put dual carbs and total loss . it does bring the power slightly later just slightly than a b pipe and keeps going to the moon . this will be a bit before you see it available to the public due to alot of tooling and so forth to get it done the right way . but it is the answer alot of guys are looking for .
