As posted earlier this week , in the Zeel thread Monday 10/18

Its Finally Time! The NEW Zeel Y62T is in stock for immediate shipment!
this is a Fully Programable Zeel CDI, Just like the GP760 versions, only its direct plug and play
on your 61X / 62T based Yamaha Superjet! Carries 2 on board curves that can be switched on the fly.
I have been testing one on my personal boat since April. Have tried it with both 61x & 62T flywheel / stators,
lightened and std uncut, and all known Alum Charging flywheels on the market. All ran flawlessly! Some minor static angle adjustment was required on the TBM alum charging, but only two degrees. The Future is here!
please email me directly at paul@lehrperformance.com for fastest response! Pre-Paid and waiting list orders will be shipped
Note: All pre-paid and waiting list orders have been shipped!

additional comments as posted in the Zeel thread Wed 10/20

The Y62T comes Pre-Programed with the Wax V3 curve, that has been the staple of the previous 02T / A02T Versions (Wax can make comment between V1 & V3 curve differences) I do offer custom written curve sets to compliment the std V3. The Y62T retails for $365.00
the USB Programing cable Retails for $65.00 Both are shipped Domestic USA , Priority mail for $9.00
This first batch has sold very well, and is almost sold out. The next batch will be avail Mid Nov. I expect to see actual ride reports very soon, as the CDI’s should be starting to deliver today. Thank you All who has supported the Zeel Ignition systems!

The other Zeel thread is a bit of a cow to digest - is there any way you could make a cliff notes / bulleted version of the gains one will see with this CDI - and perhaps compare it to an MSD? I'm very interested and will probably end up buying it either way but it would be nice to know what improvement I'll see over my current spark enhancement device.

I might have missed it as well but will this CDI fit in a stock superjet ebox? or do you need the bigger ebox from the couch? Thanks

So, is this just a plug and play upgrade or do you need all the other Zeeltronics electrics to go with it?
You can run it as is, with the Wax curve and have solid performance. It installs just like a stock cdi, plug and play.
the programing cable is only necessary if you want to experiment with curves to further dial in your performance package. This cdi uses all stock components from all years of the Yamaha Superjet. You do not need to run 760 electrics like the A02T Zeel cdi requires

ok, Dont have time to bullet format like your requesting. But here is a real quick comparison to a MSD enhancer

MSD, Stock CDI performance alternative. Plug and play. Single curve set, slightly more aggressive than OEM curve, with an adjustable RPM limiter. Spark is hotter than Stock. No other adjustments avail Known questionable reliability. Retail $409.00

Zeel Y62T, Stock CDI performance alternative, Plug and Play. Twin on board curves. Switchable on the fly. Comes with WAX V3 curve set, plus a basic curve set. Both maps infinitely adjustable via a Laptop or hand held programmer. Fully adjustable rev limiter. Spark test while hooked up to laptop, strongest spark of any aftermarket CDI, Spark energy is pulled both from battery, and charging system while running, giving unparelled spark. Very Reliable throughout testing. Retail $365.00

hope this helps,

ski ya, Paul

I asked on the other thread but I think it got missed, is it really the V3 curve? That's a hell of a lot more aggressive than the original "WAX curve", I'm a little bit surprised that's the default.

Very cool that this is now plug and play, for a lower price point than an enhancer it is a no brainer.

Hey, As Paul said this thing is awesome. I to have been running and love it.
IN answer to your question the gains are a better ignition curve so much more midrange and bottom end snap. This will really wake your ski up. I have been running it with the v3 curve in it on my sons lites class ski. I didn't change anything and put it in. His smile was priceless.

The difference between the V1 curve and the V3 curve is pretty much just all below 5000 rpm
When i wrote the first curve I ad in mind that this could go into a gp760 with three large mean on it towing a rubber tube with their not so small wives on it on last years fuel.

The V3 curve is a lot more aggressive downlow and this gives it a huge wakeup compared to the V1. But if you use this one then please dont tow fat ladies on rubber tubes and keep the fuel less than 3 months old. Heck if you run lawnmower fuel in your ski then you are not likely to buy one of these anyway
