I hope I reinforced the nose enough. I did a layer of 12 oz and a layer of eglass on the outside with 3 layers of 12oz and a layer of eglass on the inside

You want to be sure and not over reinforce the nose or it will make the ski handle funny with all that weight up front.

Got the pole bracket area reinforced. I used 2 layers of 17oz biaxial and 3 layers of 12oz. Think that will be enough? I know this is a very high stress area

What does everyone with a/m waterbox do for exhaust tube? I have the stock SN through hull pipe which is a smaller diameter then the atp waterbox when using the stock exhaust hose.

I put a RN OEM metal tube through the tray to replace the smaller squarenose tube.

hmm. to late for that mine is already fixed in place. Another question though where can I get those U bolts for the front of the hull and to hold my limiting rope.

I use ones off old couches I've parted out. 750 ss ones work well if you can find em.

I have the oppisite problem. I have a SN exhaust tube in my RN. I have a expander hooptie that I used on my FX1 if your interested. Kinda overkill, but it would appear that overkill is what you're going for LOL...

Cool thanks. Lol yeah I am kinda going for overkill. Rather be safe than sorry. Besides, Either way you look at it its still a heavy SN. I will be painting the ski white then laying vinyl on it. I got some rogue status vinyl sheet off ebay that will look pretty good.

I use the 2" FX1 exhaust hoses with RN water box. If you use some heat (heat gun, not torch) on the exhaust tubes on a bench you can get them on. Continue to heat until very warm, then let them cool. They keep the expanded shape for the most part.

Thanks I will have to try that. Well my waterbox (birthday present) is on the way. I went with H2O Designs flowbox from fastelements. The atp waterbox was on backorder and this one was cheaper. I hope I am happy with it. I also ordered my ada girdle head from jetmaniac today. When tax return comes in I will be ordering my b pipe. Everything is coming along nicely. I have applied two layer of body filler this week So I have some serious sanding to do this weekend!

Thanks I am excited to see how the vinyl turns out. It only comes in 12"x24" rolls so I may have to order more. I at least want to do the gunwales and chinpad in rogue status. I also want to get some fluorescent yellow vinyl to throw in somewhere.
