Freestyle Nozzle length and why?

^^ I think you nailed it with the laminar flow comment. In your case you will have +20 more mm of nozzle to create more turning force, and you'll feel it too because it will be that much more leverage you'll need to turn it.

I'm still trying to figure out why everyone says that shorter nozzle means sharper turning, because I've found the opposite to be true. Maybe the reason is because you will feel less force at the turn plate with a shorter nozzle, thus creating a feeling of looser turning.

how much throw are u getting out of that?? dosnt look like there is much room between the trim ring and steering nozzle so u can get full throw..looks like u already hit it up with the grinder?? if u arnt trying to FW flip u should prob ditch that anyways...keep it simple.

That pic was taken when I first installed it on my 07 SJ. I spent hours grinding on it in several different sessions to get it to where it is now. Throw is as much as possible with a stock cable and trim has been increased from 21deg to 30+.
