Super Jet Oh :-):-):-):-) Another SN build

I didn't realize the first photo was upside-down. oh well.
did some mild grinding to the hull where i drilled through it so that i can patch it once supplies arrive.
I also cut off some of the hull where i had pulled the lower section up, the first picture gives a new profile, wish i could do an overlay of OEM to current but your imagination will have to do. Will try to attack more tomorrow, need to chop the nose off so that i can see where i'm truly at.

looking good!
Makes me wanna finish my EZ and do this to my other SN.

thanks, going to flip her over tonight and clean up some of the edges. also going to cut some 2x4 to use as spacers to make sure the hull is level left to right.

my probable plan at this point is get some polystyrene and try to shape the void i've created. Shouldn't be too hard they said, it'd be fun they said.

keep posted.

I used polystyrene for the tray, sponsons and gunny. I even shaped the custom footholds for my girl, so she doesn't hurt her ankles this year.
Very easy to sand and shape. But be careful, many chemicals like 3m, weldwood, and polyesters resins will melt it.

epoxy resins only. but i need to even up the hull, as the picture shows, it's a little high on one side, so got to balance it out first. I HAVE A PLAN. and that's scary.
