Super Jet Oh :-):-):-):-) Another SN build

Is anyone out there artistic?
I need some ideas for the nose and I lack the artistic eye.

if i snap a few pictures of the front end profile as it is now, can some one doodle me up a few ideas?

thanks

just buy one of these

i've already chopped off a lot of the nose. i'll try to get a picture up tonight. I raised the hull in the front about 3 in. and cut off the front pumper area that usually is hidden by the rubber pad. was thinking of going with a ROK style nose but looking for ideas. I got a RN template to just hold up but that will be a lot more work than is needed.

i do like those though, was thinking about getting one just for the very front and doing away with the rubber pad on my other ski. not 100% though.

sorry i didn't get to this last night.

been working out with a trainer on friday nights, when i get home, i don't want to move.

photo.JPGfront profile. i removed the nose cover and filled in the grove in front of the filler cap so that it was a cleaner nose. THis was done long before deciding to chop this hull up.
photo2.JPGside profile. i just cut the top deck at where the rubber bumper would cover it.

any input would be appreciated.

rear1.jpgThanks to byeai - drain plugs arrived friday. Was able to set them up this weekend. I also cut out the paths for the exhaust tube and drain. i need to do some more fiberglass work on the exhaust side exterior before i can button it all up, but I can run the trim tube and seal in all the through hull fittings. which is next on the list.
tray 1.JPGjust a quick view of the inside of the tray as is. i put in pvc path ways for a the drains, with hull drilled, much like the drains for a yard/landscape (saw this on another build) they are currently curing with 5200 against the hull at the rear and in spots along the tube.

i'm unsure if i should secure they more with fiberglass or if the current set up is sufficient.

i also bought 2 sheets of 1in poly styrene. was hoping to get to that this weekend but i just didn't quite get here.

thanks, she's coming along. I need to run the trim tube then secure all through hull areas, do some more glass then refoam.

i'm getting there, ordered foam and glass rollers yesterday probably won't see them until next week.

no pictures yet, trying to smooth out some glass on the rear end before i can seal everything up.

i'll probably paint the rear of the ski before foaming so that i can get everything mount in place and not worry about it any further

been working on applying filler to the rear and sanding. such a fun repetative process. trying to chug away so i can get the tray back in.

bulk head.JPGbulk head with trim tube that needs to be trimmed. and i need to clean up some ugliness in here too.
drain, trim, scupper.JPGhard to tell but there is a scupper tube, tray drain and trim tube in this pic
pump side.JPGpump side, bottom left is the trim tube, towards the right is the old location that i will seal back up.
trim pump drain.JPGsee the trim tub eat the bottom, at the top is a drain tube for the tray, so water can easily drain out the back once plug is pulled
