DSC05485.jpgDSC05500.jpgLast one for now.....

Breast milk containers are great for mixing up 20, 50, or 100ml batches of resin....

Wax paper works good enough for what it is....

My Wamiltons ride plate looked like ass and needed a new layer of carbon.

My original WDK plate was sitting around doing nothing so....

My little battery slid around in my WDK battery bracket so that got some attention.

I decided on a 10mm bolt and nut for drains.....it is the only thing that would sit down at the very very bottom of the hull.

Sorry pics are getting crazy....all over the place with this.....

Doc "[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]This here is Bessie, finest hull-glassin' machine ever built. I'm hereby sentencing you to community service. You're gonna fix the hull under my supervision.
So we're gonna hitch you up to sweet Bessie, and you're gonna pull her nice. You start there where the hull begins, you finish down there where the hull ends."

Madmat"HOLY SHOOT!"
Madmat " Whoa, whoa, whoa! How long is this gonna take?"

Doc " Well, fella does it right, should take him about five months".

One more sanding and final coat of resin on the Wami.....more foothold repair....litte shot of the cups I used....perfect for small batches and I had a hundred of them.

I always mix in a little high strength filler on everything except final brush coats.DSC05521.jpgDSC05520.jpgDSC05518.jpgDSC05517.jpgDSC05516.jpgDSC05514.jpgDSC05515.jpg

DSC05537.jpgDSC05534.jpgDSC05533.jpgDSC05524.jpgDSC05522.jpgOK getting to the good stuff....the first row of balls packed perfectly under the one way valve. Then I glassed the new tray to the top of the pump bolts......then I "tacked" the footholds in....

Today more grinding, sanding, cutting, fitting.....and glassing....

I went with "L" supports off of the top of the footholds instead of the trusses....double layer of carbon wrapped down the hold and then runs along the bond line......

Also added layers of glass and filler to raise the front of the tray to where it needs to be...and leveled out the bottom of the right foothold.....

Glassed down the back of the tray and added layers to the entire foothold area..

Messin with sides tonight....

I actually love this part...shaping...tinkering....

The "new" WDK rideplate is looking cool....slighlty unique shape....

This is what music and talk radio have come down to! I love I heart!

I always wanted to try a front slasher (or God knows what!!) hold....it came out awesome!! I put 10 layers of wax paper on my shoe and draped resin and cloth over it...watched and waited....grabbed it and stuck it in the hold and rolled the tacky cloth back on to the tray.....can't wait to try it!!!!

I wanted some enclosure but saw no reason to waste the front of the massive WDK holds....so they are slasher holds now too. Just enough enclosure to hold me on those questionable ones....all this crap started because I returfed without thinking about how much thought had went in to my last turf/padding.....then I went riding and fell out and tossed it like 5 times in a row and just beat poor Betsy to death....

Stuffed as many balls as I could in! Last one was a relief!! His name is Baller. I'll have to add up what I have left and subtract it from 1296 to see what she took....

Rhass motor mounts arrived and so did my new coupler dampner...

Sanding and shaping and final layers of carbon and glass going on tonight and tomorrow.....hopefully....
