Yea but only about 50 hours on this....I could only work on it from 6 to 10 each night...but now Kell has off til Thursday!

So much waiting.....sometimes I will kill 2 hours watching something and sticking it down as soon as it is tacky enough to hold shape.

Shooooot...sometime I just stare at the entire ski for 30 minutes figuring out what to do next.....lol...

Almost out of material.....a litte more reinforcing on the guns and all 3 holds and tail tonight....

I stood in it and checked it out all out last night and loved it!DSC05615.jpgDSC05613.jpgDSC05612.jpgDSC05610.jpgDSC05606.jpg

I know right! It is nice being able to wrap and stick that final little detail though! Saves me sanding carbon.

And my garage is the most organized its ever been. I finally got around to hanging more stuff and getting rid of a bunch of crap.

My floor is WASTED though!

Hand sanded the entire tray with 40 to smooth it out...cut all remaing glass in to strips and used it all up....and then put another layer of resin over everything...

I cut around the tie down and sanded it back a hair and then put a 5200 barrier between the tray and the tie down....

The engine compartment needed some love....

And then I couldn't just leave the bottom all beat up after going through all of this crap....so I plucked a cheap cloth flag out of the front flower pot (I was a little worried but low and behold! THESE COLORS DON"T RUN!)...sanded her a little....gave her a layer of resin...and a layer of paint....another layer of paint soon.....

Stoked to ride!!!! It feels at least 20lbs lighter!!!!! DSC05620.jpg

DSC05623.jpgDSC05624.jpgDSC05616.jpgDSC05618.jpgDSC05619.jpgI actually dread turfing more than anything I have done so far.

Finally got around to turfing my front foot hold the right way.....

I found a small spot above the new hold that was kinda weak but I was out of glass.....so a dried out baby wipe saved the day...

I am using my modded WDK plate for sure...

The first time I ever used a pattern for a tray....worked great!

No more 25mm padding for me....it crushes and makes the turf wear out quicker IMO....and I can't "feel" the ski as much with 25mm....

8mm padding plus turf plus 4mm socks in my wrestling shoes should be more than enough....DSC05640.jpgDSC05627.jpgDSC05637.jpgDSC05629.jpgDSC05631.jpgDSC05628.jpg

LOL..yes...see that thick piece on the top of the front hold....

I want to make something out of a quality big real US flag....

I wonder if we could use one as a cosmetic top layer on a ski?

I don't think so but you never know....I have ridden with enclosures before and liked them for certain things where both of your feet are back in the holds.
