Custom/Hybrid Poizen's Tiger craft Aqua-bot

Are you for real? When I pay for a custom ski to be foamed I expect bladdy foam

You obviously have not read my other posts that I get bashed for. I am one of the few that believes that A/M hulls should be superior in every way to oem hulls. Quality, fit, finish all should be top of the heap since these are supposedly built by riders they should be delivered in superior condition compared to a Yami or Kawi and be issue free. Others do not agree and their level of acceptability and excuses differs from mine. Guess its cuz I'm lazy and if I pay someone to do my yard I dont wann have to go edge it after they leave.

I will add that after you get it assembled and dialed you should have a big smile on your face. The AquaBot looks to be a great handling hull, albeit I've only seen it in a lake setting. Edit I agree with Chris, ebox mounting seem a little low.

Your ski has foam underneath the tray.... it serves a few purposes other than flotation if any.its more for strength without adding multiple layers for reinforcement. I do not 2 part foam skis.

Im making logs on all these issues more so to acknowledge the customer on what we mean by foam. Great thing about composites there are 100.s of different foams. Although not visible its not invisible :)

Ebox is also too low. Needs to be mounted under recess for hood latch. Well thats where I prefer it to go but its

When a customer says I want foam because its a surf ski surely you know 2part?

There may be 100s of foams why didn't you clarify to which I wanted?

And again what foam is 99% spoken about here? 2part?
What good is a open cavity that can fill with water?

So should o drill holes in my top deck?

So when can I expect my other parts?

You dont want 2 part foam, your hull will eventually leak and become waterlogged

Yes if he hull was sealed well I wouldn't worry but im leaving the foam out now will just drain if it leaks I have gone over all seal areas with sikaflex again to make sure

Just every ski i've seen will eventually leak over time from the abuse we put the hulls through. I had a similar issue with the clinic, I asked and was told I was getting polystyrene foam and got two part. After a year and a bit it was water logged, took me forever to fix and seal up again.

I dont buy the "All ski's leak". I bought my current hull in 2007, Wamilton prepped it for Bogey in 2000. 2 other people owned this ski and rode the piss out of it. When I got it, I removed the footholds (did not like placement), cut open the bottom of the tray. Guess what, Dry as a bone. I found a little moisture by the exhaust outlet from a small crack below the bondline...... Up front by the firewall? Zero Water. At the bottom along the chines, Zero Water. So, If you do it right, it can remain water tight. We have gotten away from expecting quality to accepting poor craftsmanship.........

Also wow these ski's well any this shape are a biatch to work on

This is where you learn to appreciate the superjet hood

Some one should talk to Yamaha then because we have all seen the RN SJs that leak

Yamaha does not take the extra time to seal. Wamilton does take the time............ That is what I was referring to. My old SJ leaked. They can be sealed up if taken the time to do so.

Just read all this. You are handling it better than I would. I don't much care about gel coat chips, but your pump issues and no foam is scary.

I built roll cages for a while. I sold a few as kits online also. I sold them for a lot of money. To people that had money and expensive toys. They were custom and one off. CUSTOM

I realize cages and skis are not the same. I'm trying to get the point across that of you are going to make a BUSINESS building something, you better be damn good at it. You better be willing to accept your wrong. You better be willing to communicate properly. You better be willing to work the hardest you ever have for not near as much money as you thought.

I didn't have any issues with my sales. Everything fit how it should. I took time to do things right for people because thaTs what I expect. Would it be ok for me to make a prototype cage for someone's vehicle, ship it to them, and then when they roll it and it fails and they die, just tell them they should have bought a more expensive one? That see,s to be a lot of people's logic. I realize perfection is impossible, but this leaving a shop like that is flat out not taking pride in your work. Garbage IMO.

I totally understand being pissed your called a liar. I don't know how anyone could defend that. I almost got one of these hulls. Seriously. I am so glad I didn't after reading all this. I COULD fix all that myself, and have that ski on the water. Why should you have to do any mods to your hull at all? Some people obviously think that's ok. That's bull poop. I work my ass of for my money. If 3k isn't a lot to you, and you wanna rub it in, that's cool, pound it in your ass. It's a lot of money to most of us and while it seems a lot of us will bend over and take it in the tailpipe with zero lube, I'm glad to see some of us woñt, and are willing to speak up. Thank you.

Hope you love the ride poizen, you have earned it man
