Well that was fun getting my thread locked guys please chill with each other i dont need it getting locked again

So Adam told me that aparantly tigercraft have a customer service team now

Lets see how long it takes them to reply to my email I sent on Friday about it leaking bad

Hopefully soon. Time will tell

The person who emailed me sounded helpful and wanted to get things sorted so that everyone was happy, hopefully you will get a email mate.

so ive been battling constantly with Epic cdi and TBM flywheel they are just not working together with custom mapping and special flashes etc

so my mate had a older total loss with jetnetics total loss flywheel well I traded my epic for the total loss and im happy

its sounds mean and revs like a mofo will be testing today hopefully

also the flywheel is much lighter

TBM- 2.03LBS
Jetnetics- 1.30LBS

here some pictures the install is messy right now but its just to test and make sure im all happy then will make a nice box

the pickup was dead but lucky he had a new msd pickup that works perfect

It was the last epic before the hx3. Im trading it for the total loss

I can sell or trade the new tbm flywheel for a thrust trim system

That ebox isnt mine im making it for a friend

Took the ski out today and holy moly total loss is the bees nees thats some seriously wild power and its the old unit I can only imagine how nice the new units are.

Then my ancient battery died and I was stranded in the middle of the dam lucky I only ride with mates

Toss in a new battery and the fun continued.

My 180s have much more air ski just rips

Trying to get the setup wake down not the easiest thing

Granted spark energy is a little better with T/L but the "power" you felt was probably just more aggressive timing curve. Dead battery: ahh the joy of T/L. Glad ya like it, to bad ya couldn't get the EPIC/TBM working. ATP oughta get ya working or pull compatability claim off imo. Really glad you've been able to work through the issues and are enjoying yourself. Have fun.

I think the power is a combination of the timing amd the 1.3lbs flywheel

Atp have told me they wont suggest it compatability anymore but they have been great help with assistance telling me what to do and try unfortunately it didn't work but in a way im glad as I now have total loss

Ive spent lots of money on things that people promise you will feel a diff and Ive never felt an improvement quite like this

but again it must be down to also the super light weight flywheel

keen to see how much better the new units are ive only tried the new unit on my mates stroker so im not sure whats giving the most arm breaking performance the msd or stroker

you see you say its got a more aggressive timing curve but it doesnt really as msd run a straight line curve mine set 24deg and it starts retarding at 4600 rpm

it does battle to start when the batt is low with the advanced timing but i did have a dud battery so will test tomorrow with my new one

but yes im glad ive seen the light at then end of the tunnel been working hard on my flips its really a skill big respect to the guys that can do it

going to make everything neat and make a nice mounting plate

are oem electrics like started solenoid and coil safe to mount in the open?

the 09 starter relay looks much better sealed than the pre 08 style

or i will just keep it mounted on the outside of them oem ebox

If all you've run before is stock cdi or enhancer then even your straight line (curve?) 24° advance to 4600 is more than you've experienced prior. Not knowing (didnt work so doesnt matter) curve in EPIC its hard to compare. You got it now so thats great.

I ran epic on stock flywheel before that was a nice curve

Just wished it worked with tbm thats a nice combo if it worked with the adjustable curve and charging capabilities

I never said tbm was heavy ive only ever used oem with epic
