Power factor wet or dry pipe Vs RRP carbon wetpipe

I have not ridden a pfp wet pipe yet, however i have run the rrp pipe back to back with the pfp dry pipe without changing anything else on both my tpe 964 and 1105 And MY PERSONAL results were the single biggest gain from any single part in my jetski history all the way from the bottom end all the way through the top. And god bless ya if you can hold on more than 5 secs in any amount of chop.

chad, what is the tip depth of the rrp injector,it looks like it is set very high, this is the way I was going to try it in the pfp,so the spray patern covers the whole mani inlet. Any pics of the RRP injector tip shape?

Deff want a very good filter before the injector if running a 60 jet in it. few large grains of sand would clog it quick. What brand and type filter are guys having success with in ocean

I have 2 complete setups. The 1st one came with angled spray fitting , the 2nd is just an open tip. They are both in the same spot and only protrude a little bit so that almost all of the area is being covered by the spray.

I can take a pic of the new tip later on today. As well as the filters im running and even 1 grain of sand will clog a 120 jet.

Ive heard of a few different people setting these up in different ways, however i have not ridden either so i wont comment on either.

IMO i feel that removing the inner jacket of the pfp and running that as a wet pipe is the ticket. Lets remember that a pfp dry pipe is the same dimensions as a type 9 pipe which was built for a 701/760. The rickter pipe was design for big cc motors. Just my thoughts, in the meantime i would do whatever u can to get your hands on the rickter pipes.

that looks like they just cut the tip off the injector to shoot straight down, guess it depends on what type motor you are using it on. Alot of the bigger motors with out aux exh ports and perfect aiming on the aux transfers loose a good bit of the charge out the exh at low rpm, its a matter of finding that perfect timing of getting the wave back to cram all that charge mixture back in there at the perfect time. hiro prolly has a number of diff type injectors and pressures used to get it to work optimally.
Ive seen a mold for the rrp pipe and the pfp fits right down in it almost perfect, they are VERY sim other than being composite and wet design.

is that comparing the pfp pipe as is or with the outer jacket removed?
seems the pfp has much smaller volume with the double walls and all.

How do you remove the dry chamber? I think adding a spray nozzle and plugging the cooling lines are how you mod the dry pipe.

This PFP owner can make the mod, thanks for the info.

videos from PowerFactor show some of the biggest air I've seen, they do that with their 1200's, and dry PFP?

Yeah, I'm not ready to cut my 1k$ new pipe, yet. But, I will eventually... It's good to see people experimenting w/ ways off getting the most out of these BB's

IMG_00000181.jpg IMG_00000179.png Nice work on taking that chamber out! I tried my carbon RRP pipe yesterday on my 16mm 1100, no jetting required on the carbs, crazy hit and smooth strong power, seems electric now. My pfp has to be cracked since I got it used 2 seasons ago, I could never jet it right and it would die at the worst times and make me crash or almost crash.
I will say that the RRP pipe fit waaay better with no mickey mouse mods required like my pfp did
