Transfer ports roughed up on the lamey. they were perfectly smooth before w/ casting marks left on them. No reshaping, just ruffed. A buddy of mine is going to put a fresh one on the cylinders for me. I have one season left on them before re-sleeveing.

You got pics of the new hull yet?

maybe :sneaky: :ugh2: I will have some pics of other stuff as well shortly. MSD ignition wired and manifold mods done and mocked up. Getting ready to send more parts out to be coated so hopefully the longblock will be fully assembled within the next week. I am surprised no one noticed how smooth that lamey cylinder looked in the pics above

what do you mean you have one season left before re-sleeving? Do you freshen it up every season? Cuz it should last alot longer than that, as long as there are no uh-oh's.

Those sleeves are just really thin and I plan to ride allot this year so even if they get scored lightly, there is not more room to overbore them. Luckily they are good and clean still, no scoring so I should say I am good for at least anouther solid season w/o incident. If there are any mishaps they will have to be re-sleeved.

The bottom deck is done, Aluminum exhaust has been constructed w/ all mandrel bends, scupper installed, motor bed in place, prepreg topdeck is constructed. Still needs to do the hood and liner in prepreg. Should do that next week sometime then it will be ready for paint. I talked to him tonight and he is just super busy with everything. This will be the first and possibly only prepreg (1/2 prepreg) X-jet out there. He said everyone wants the REV hulls and he has not recieved many orderes for the X-jet. I really like the REV hull but to be honest with you I am a flatwater rider and the X-jet is just the sh&% for flatwater. Low profile, kind of wide and nible boat.

Decided to go with a -3 in REV handlepole. W/ the X-jet being an additional 1 1/8 lower than a lowered SJ when the pole is at a 45 degree angle it will feel about 3.5 in shorter to the rider. Also running the -1.5 in XFT steering system. So that will give me adjustablity forward or back buy swaping turn plates.
