“Or maybe not. Will it hit the Pump?”

Not sure, will have to look tomorrow, thanks.
So another thing to think about is,if you were to move the block mounts deeper in the pump box, will the ride plate then be too deep? And what would that do to the handling?

Is that a toby fx1 rideplate? If you lay a straight edge down your keel, is it level with the plate or lower? I know those 550/750 pump conversion skis hang down from the pump shoe back like that and seem to work ok. Prob don't wanna beach it though.

Small update.Got some parts power coated that l picked up yesterday.Had an xmetal water box that the exit tube was too long.l had it cut and welded an 1” shorter to fit the hull.In the pic you can see l was able to fit the nose foam in its original spot.
Began assembling the engine. It’s a LPW 735,single carb 46 with a WetJet intake. Thanks @Jr. Also using a Zeel ignition bought from LPW.He programmed the zeel with 2 curves before shipping it to me.
Holes drilled for the handlepole bracket and fitted. But of course,l have no idea where the M8 1.25 nuts are in my vast collection of parts. So it’s off to the hardware store for 4 nuts :(

Amazing how slow l am.Just got the pump installed and aligned.Water lines connected too.Just lack some button head bolts to attach the ride plate.Thought about using a tapered head, but will have to cut too much in the glass and carbon.
Handlepole bracket aligned and installed
Hood is done except gluing the liner in.l’m waiting on some frogskins to place on the vents at the rear.Midshaft is installed.
Today hopefully l can finish the engine assembly and install it.Just lack putting the flywheel on and the cover.

Engine and ebox are ready to install now.Finished them up yesterday. Now l just need to get my son over here to drop it in the hull.l can still do this on my own when the ski stand is trailer height, but my build stand is 4’ high to make it easier on my back.Steering cable installed, latch on hood and the ski.
lf l get time this week,l should be able to bump the engine over by friday.

First thing l want to say is there is alway hiccups along the way.lt’s a somewhat of a custom build,Not the first thing to have an issue on this one,but predictable.
Although the engine went in fine, when l shoved it back,lt was about 1/2” forward before hitting the m/m holes.Went thru the steps to adjust it back with no luck.Closer but still not working.Contacted @Sasquachcrap and he is working on a solution. The driveshaft coming thru the bulkhead looks close to being in the right place.
Will update,as soon as l know something.

Special thanks for Steve for working with me to correct the problem! lf you have never used him for your driveshaft needs you are missing out.
