Hull # 2 progress.
Stepped the edges of the mm plates and also hogged out the centers to drop so weight.

Motor set in place, makes a good weight to set the mounts while the epoxy dries

And its a thick glass hull. Bottom deck is 5mm thick at its minimum, with extra in some spots with beaching wear and landing impact in mind.

Isn't 5mm kind thin for a bottom deck? The glass xfs is 9/16 thick in some areas

I just picked up two sections and mic'd them one from the exhaust exit area and the other from the pole bracket. 7mm. thick
Don't forget these are experimental!!!

The idea is to see how far we can push it, and what areas of stress are.

he means its a caliper. looks like you guys are going all out. looks really good so far. just want to point out something that looked odd in the pics, the first setup looks like the motor is sitting on the stator wires. could be the angle, maybe you just threw it in for pics, may want to look at the wires. everybody knows how bad it sucks to want to go on that first ride and ski wont start lol.

Oh yea, the wire is just wrapped around the bedplate to be out of the way, but good eye! Thanks
