It was a mistake mix at our local PPG supplier. Being that I run the front end of a body shop their mistake got donated! It's good to have friends. Anyhow, no clue on the color name but it's PPG concept single stage. And it's cut 50/50 with PPG concept 2021 clear coat on the last 2 coats.

I put this on this morning before work. Love it!!
Tonight I'll be finishing the Canadian freestyle bottom deck, and laying up a hood and seal channel. Josh will be bonding his hull together. Later this week the Canadian freestyle top deck should be done and off to paint. I can't wait to finish the betas and take a little break.

Flickering power tonight led to no vacuum pump so we bonded decks and some bulk head work

Mad progress tonight. Joshs is bonded, un clamped and the edge is finish sanded. Headed to paint.

Steve's bottom deck has all but the pump and rideplate inserts to go and it's off to paint. Engine mount plates are bolted to the jig and curing over night.

We are looking to be laying up another beta hull to have on display at the lake Erie freeride before we ship it out. (this will be Daralekts hull) It should be there in bare hull form so everyone can touch, feel and lift it around.

We now have RCW models. They work for free and don't complain about the time we spend in the shop... Enjoy!

More work happened tonight at RCW headquarters... Steve UK can rest easy knowing his bottom deck is painted. Joshs top deck has a coat or 2 of clear on it and is ready to be wet sanded and sent off to his air brush artist friend once we flip it over and do the bottom tomorrow.
Thursday night we lay up the final parts to go to Canada and with a little luck next Monday or Tuesday it's ready to leave. I hope we can expect a nice write up once it gets there and built.

Don't worry, it's coming. Once these 2 are done we will get some ride time in. We really need to get the first beta out the door before the season is over in Canada. But we will keep the pics coming as we go.
