RICKTER talk

For a AM 155mm pump (skat trak) You will need to get a 155mm pump shoe and do some modification to make the shoe it fit on your hull and i have never seen a sit down 155mm pump in a Rickter. I would be curious to see the performance out come of that combo, 701+155mm pump.

The ski right now has a 155 shoe installed TC is going to switch it out but I just wanted to see my options. I'm not gonna spend the money for a skat just seeing if it's possible

If it has a 155 pump shoe surley it's already had a 155 pump fitted before (Presume its a used ski?) If so its wortha go to see what it's like.

I see you bought Randys hull or Tanners? if you are going to never put a big motor in it i would switch to a 144mm pump with a 701. 155mm pumps are for big 900cc-1200cc engines to get the power to the water. I ride with TC alot and live 1 hour away from his shop hes a great guy.

Ordered my edge from Tc 1.5 months ago too! Can't wait! He was awesome to deal with. These hulls are going to be a blast all around.

Who has heard of anyone breaking an fs rickter. I see guys riding them in the surf and was wondering if they're breaking or any stress cracks. Looking for guys who ride hard. You're not breaking hulls surfing 2ft waves. I destroyed three reinforced superjets this summer and I'm starting to get stress cracks on my fr2. I have a couple buddies looking for a rickter and there's a bunch of fs models for sale. Just wondering how they hold up

I had a fs2 it was solid. But also was reinforced by rickter. And I can promise you nobody is breaking that. I imagine a average pro still won't hurt a regular fs2. Maybe if your slamming the side in 20ft waves in Aus all day.

I ride/hang with TC and he has never once had a rickter that was jacked up to the point you couldn't ride it, my fr2 evo has some minor stress cracks and 2 of my buddy's have fs2 evos and no problems and we ride every weekend at pismo in heavy to mild surf. Rickters are the most well built surf hulls on the market and freeriders huck them to the moon with no issues other than spider cracks and a rare minor crack. If you thrash your hull like beaching it on rocks or throwing it into your truck or trailer it will not last. Heres a little rickter porn from our last freeride.

Right now there are some good deals on FS2's but our buddy wants an fr2 for the stronger hull. When we ride we tend to get over zealous and go for big flips in shallow water or the occasional bail from a over rotated flips where the ski falls flat from 15ft+
