Turn the hull over, go to start mounting up the pump and realize something does not look right - NO PUMP SHOE. WTF. One of those things you just take for granted and overlook. For the price I paid, there is no reason this hull should NOT have come with one!

Call a few local members and dealerships, no dice. I was hoping to have it fired up and running tonight... I guess another week of waiting won't hurt, right?

definitely should have had a pump shoe IMO......or at least it should have been crystal clear that it wouln't.

are you guys for real? what else should a new hull come with?.you want a steering cable too? how about motor mounts and rick roys first born .how many other a/m hulls come with the pump shoe? none that i have ever seen.

the xft ' wamiltons ' carbon de all come with a pump shoe and also its not the easiest part to get hold of but there is a guy in the new product realses section making a scoop grate with an intergrated pump shoe

Every A/M hull I've seen came with a pump shoe. :dunno:

um...not really.when i was shopping hulls wcf,wammer,wdk and xft all said the pump shoe could be included for an additional charge. at xft the shoe was included if bought the hull as a package.


i cant speak on trinity or lightweight.de as it has been two years and trinity wasnt selling skis yet. and i never spoke with lightweight.de


the moral of the story here is dont assume anything,ask

Perhaps you misunderstood Sergio. His hulls have come with an aluminum shoe for at least 4 plus years(maybe always have). This is my 4th season on mine and he hasn't updated the hull section of his site since before I bought mine. I'm pretty sure Steve(WCF) has always included one as well because he and I argued over the benefit of an aluminum shoe several years ago.

I beat my personal June 1st deadline... by a day.

Started right up, and is one of the sweetest sounding things EVER.

Only ran one tank of gas through it, but feels amazing! Between the jetting specs from Art @ Jetworks, and the timing curve from a reputable forum member, I will not mess with anything until something breaks.

Only thing that is missing is the trim cable. Other then that, time to enjoy! I went for my first backflip ever yesterday off a boat wake and ate it pretty good, but man there is so much pop even off the smallest wake with the front end the way it is!

My only complaint are the footholds - not a fan of them at all. I rocked XFT's for a couple years and I cannot stay hooked in these. Definitely going to be doin' up something soon...
